Hi again, everyone.
Nothing much has changed since the last news item, Just wishing to highlight the part of "In case the site actually stops responding, do keep looking back every now and then as the site might be back on the same URL, in one form or another."
Do note that this is not a promise of the site coming back or staying up, it is more of a hope of perhaps-maybe kind of a deal. |

I suppose that some people are wondering where they should go in order to keep the community intact.
Honestly.. I've no idea. There have been some talks about keeping just the forums and dropping everything else or even going offline for a while, regroup and relaunch the site in one form or another. How likely any of that is to happen I do not know, but that is something you might find from this domain sometime after the dust settles.
Other options have been brought up in the forums, feel free to dig around and make your pick. If you appreciate anything this site has standed for over 8½ years and .5M torrents, you will pick something where the site does not support p2l nor sites where staff/owners "take a share" of the donations.
Last but certainly not least I'd like to thank all the people who have put their time, effort, money and expertize into the site. I'd also like to make an apology to the userbase collectively for not being able to keep the site afloat for longer as well as to some ex-staff and some people behind the scenes, you know who you are, I hope. Whatever was done was thought to be the best for the site with the information at hand at the time.

Hello everyone.
At the moment it seems like the site will cease to exist sometime in early August due to no practical way of funding this fun. The past 7 months the site has been kept up by a few very generous people combined with some good old-fashioned stubbornes. The site is unlikely to come back as is.
