I'll kinda miss the little, sometimes heated debates but, being who I am, I have to get one last dig and I am sure there will be some reply comments so here goes.

It does not matter if someone likes or hates you over here, help is usually always around when you ask. Or a laugh is had along the way!

i think the reason that we see no more iOS vs Android topics is that Android fixed the only disadvantage against iOS with 4.xx versions, which was stability

what hardware features did they steal? Seriously Apple has invented zero new hardware all they did was repackage and market current or outdated technology. Simply put there are phones with better more responsive touch screens (apple was not the first to make a touch screen phone) there are much much much better camera phones on the market (hell the Iphone camera was a big ass joke until the 4th generation phone) they have to pay Nokia a large sum for every iphone sold because of patent theft and use. So please tell me what hardware Android/Samsung stole from Apple?

Pretty sure the point was since this specific site and some from the community wont be around anymore, thats what will be missed, not that there won't be arguements all over the internet about the ever ongoing ios vs android debate

Windows Phone has it's bad and worse
WebOS has it's worse and worse and worse and worse
Ubuntu has potential but is so cut-back it's not a viable option
Firefox OS is... We'll see soon I guess.
Point is, all OS have good and bad points. You can't expect there not to be a little "I like what you got" going on. Shitloads of iOS features were copied straight from Android. Android as a system hasn't taken a whole lot from iOS and you just can't say vice versa. As for Samsung 'stealing' hardware features, stop smoking crack... It's rotting your brain.
How many different designs of a touchscreen phone can you have? Ultimately they are all the same - a slab of plastic or metal with some buttons and a screen. The only thing you can do hardware wise is. Put it this way... Most HP laptops looks similar to Dell laptops (and every other laptop out there, for that matter) - that wont affect any kind of decision to go for one over the other though, is it?
Change the location/size/shape of buttons - home button / power / volume up / volume down
Change the location of the camera/flash
Change the size of the bezel around the screen
Also, how Blackberry can get away with designing the Q10 like they did and get less flac than Samsung is beyond me. The Q10 is a goddamn iPhone 5 with BBOS10 on it. I don't see you picking on them, even though it's the closest mobile to an iPhone out there, without being an actual iPhone.

I liked my iphone at first, i had an old blackberry before that so duh no brainer, but as time got on I avoided the music capabilities as itunes is the devils work. Its kinda like a phone you would get your mum, entry level folks its great but day to day for what I use my phone as it gets frustrating. Once i get a new (non apple) phone then I suppose i can really comment as for now I have only 'lived' with the iPhone.. at the moment i cant really compare.
