Hi, hope I'm in the right spot for this post. Sorry if not.

I downloaded a FL music torrent yesterday and received 1.36GB of 'wasted data' (hashfails) during the download.
DHT is disabled, Peer Exchange is disabled, and protocol encryption is 'Enabled'.
Im using Utorrent 3.2.3 (not the best option, i know).

With this setup, I never get any wasted data on other private trackers.
Does anyone know how to stop this?

Obviously it is not a problem on a FL torrent, but I am worried it may happen on a regular torrent that counts your download.

Edit: tokol,
Normally utorrent bans peers sending bad data automatically, not sure why it didn't this time. Currently having the same problem on another FL music download too, just not as bad. I'm trying to find the source of this lot of bad data now. Logging all activity in utorrent.

As far as I know there is not much you can do apart from figuring out which peer is sending the bogus data and blocking it.

Check your drives, it could be that its getting written wrong and nothing to do with the torrent at all.
