Yeah. Women buy shoes they will never wear. Men buy steam games they will never play.

Bought Tomb Raider, and thought I'd try to connect a ps3 controller. Anyone got experience with this?

Same here, I just buy games and tell to myself "maybe some day i'll play em"

So far, bought Tomb Raider pack, hitman absolution, surgeon simulator, l.a noire and system shock 2

Well come on, the pack was only $5 more.

Fallout New Vegas and DLC for less than €5. Pretty good deal.

Works like a charm, thanks! Think I'm about halfway through, and this is a lot of fun!

Bought hitman and chivalry. Chivalry bores fast

It's a great game and has been optimized greatly since the last big sale.
Too bad I don't have any time to play it anymore.

I am extremely disappointed in this summer sale. Haven't bought a single game. Games go in circles between either under community choice, flash sale or daily deals... Other than Dishonored, all of the games on sale have been in either flash sales or community choice IMO.
Poor effort on their part.

Agreed. That's what happens when the year of gaming has been mediocre at best though.

Bought Tomb Raider, Torchlight 2 and Dishonored so far.

Really, i think this year has been great for game. And so many more games to come. The last 12 months have been amazing in my opinion.

It could also be that I haven't had the chance to actually play games for the last 12 months, just did a year of service in the army, and life just now returned to normal. I do have a lot to catch up on, and I have several titles that I'm working through atm.

here's a few that you need to play.

1: The last of use (if you have a PS3)
2: Hitman: Absolution
3: Bioshock Infinite
4: Tomb Raider
5: Metro: Last Light
6: Far Cry 3
7: Dishonored (if you didn't play it last year)
8:The Walking Dead
9: Dead Space 3
10: Grid 2 (Fun racing game)

All Good game, tryed to pick games you can play on all platforms, but there are some amazing exclusives i left out. I needed to but The last Of Us in there because its one of my games of the year if not this gen.

I don't think it's been a  bad gaming year.  I am starting to see the same titles popping up over and over on the Steam Summer Sale though..

1. Amazing game!
2. Average game. Borderline bad.
3. Good story but gameplay was lacking. And this game was cheaper preorder on GMG than it was on steam summer sale.
4. I liked this game. Good story, beautiful graphics and good gameplay. Just a little bit short on content.
5. Own this game but not played yet.
6. Average at tops.
7. Own this game but not played yet.
8. Own this game but not played yet. Gonna finish back to the future first.
9. Own this game but not played yet.
10. Average at tops. Borderline bad.

Anyone most of the games in this list is not on the steam sale OR they are or has been cheaper in other online stores.

Far Cry 3 was pretty awesome.

I bought tomb raider at gamesrocket 1½-2months ago for 15euro.

Walking dead was in humble bundle i paid 5$ for huge pack of telltalegames.

Tbh check around

steam
gmg
gamersgate
gamesrocket

for gamesrocket play at little around with country/currency as price changes quiet a bit actually.

99% of the times steam will be the most expensive as its the most known onlineshop so people just buys there.

As for the summer sale i only got borderlands 2 season pass 10euro was really cheap but nothing else had my intrest.

I'm either missing something or Steam is the cheapest here with the best bundles as well?

Only temporary. When the other sites has their weekly sales or similar they are more than often much cheaper than steam. Pretty much every game I have bought so far on sale on GMG has been cheaper than what steam is asking on this summer sale.
Even Origin by the blood sucking EA is cheaper than steam when it comes to Dragon Age when on sale.

Awesome game! It can be very relaxing to play, but also challenging, depending on the settings you choose.

If you grab it, make sure to grab the expansion and DLC's as well, they come in handy when playing
