This is network tv there is no such thing as a hit 13 episode run series, they will milk every last dollar from this cow even if it takes 10+ season.

hehe exactly the reason I decided to stop watching after episode 3 and just read the damn book whenever I got time. Dont need no other revolution/falling skies type of show!

it is the number one summer show in both ratings and total viewers so you can damn well expect another season at this point.

I read the book summary and am surprised they made the first episode as exciting as it was, given that the source material seems to be all about dat drama and buried emotional baggage.
it is the number one summer show in both ratings and total viewers so you can damn well expect another season at this point.
If it were on in the fall when there are actually other things to watch on tv it would be a flop

LOL the dome is secondary to the story. It's a story about human nature and what exactly would happen if they are put in a situation where they are completely cut off from every one and every thing and how it would bring out the truly ugly, sinister side in some people.
