Looking at setting up another router as a wired bridge, rather than buying a switch as i've already got a spare router

router is a DIR-615 not sure on how to set it up as i know dd-wrt can be installed

Turn off any DHCP settings on it and leave that to the main one and just plug a wire into it, will work as a switch then but obviously you will lose a port.

if you install dd-wrt it should be quite simple using http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Switched_Ports

just put them all in a single VLAN and you should be set

You might have to use this though: http://dossy.org/2008/02/configuring-dd … nd-bridge/
And of course, disable DHCP client/server.
