Hi, i sometimes need to use a proxy to browse a website. I use firefox as my default browser, is there a way of using a proxy with internet explorer which i can leave so that only internet explorer uses and doesnt affect my firfox settings because when i last used the proxy with internet explorer firefox automatically started to use it aswell. Is there a setting im missing here to stop this from happening?

you can use proxifier, that's a great application for your purpose

you can put all your applications filtering through the proxy or you can just put 1 application or group of applications through it

In firefox go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced tab -> Network tab -> Connection Settings. Change "Use system proxy settings" to "No proxy".
