Hey,

Got into the closed beta today for ff15:rr, and I've gotta say I'm really impressed so far. The gamepad incorporation is excellent(even though my silly gamepad has the wrong buttons). And the graphic is top notch, and it really reminds me more of final fantasy XI than what ff15 was when it was first released.

So my question is: Anyone else playing this atm? Would love to play with some people, and seeing it's a final fantasy MMO a couple of friends to help me out with mechanics and stuff wouldn't be bad. Only played for a couple of hours so far, so I can gladly change server(currently on Cerberus).

I think you mean to write FF14.

But my worries is that they still have the silly leveling cap, quest cap and all that shit.

Well I only played for about 4 hours, so didn't really get too deep into all the mechanics yet, the beta is only open during weekends.
Not really sure if it's nostalgia, gamepad or the game that is actually making me really look forward to next weekend

There was some quest caps in the beginning, but so far it only limits the quest so you don't have to run around with a full quest log with quests you can't do because you aren't able to obtain items/survive areas and so on.

Been playing since Alpha, so far is a huge improvement over the original.

What do you mean by leveling and quest caps? If you're referring to the fatigue system, it's been gone since middle of the version 1 life cycle.
