Actually look pretty cool, thought first it was that mmofps game where you play against 200 other people, and that kinda sucked..
Might give it a try, but tbh its not a FPS is it now?

The actual definition of "mediocre".
It's not terrible but it doesn't do anything amazing, either. Probably fun for a few days and that's it.

Same impression here. Bored of most MMOs so this was fun for a while. Maybe it would be more fun if played with friends or whatever. But right now it feels more like a poorly done 3rd person shooter but with lots of random people helping you.
It's like the sci-fi version of GW2.
I actually like it quite a bit, got it for a good deal (200sek) so i bought it, and i've had quite a bit of fun so far. Haven't played very much but yea. It's not amazing, but it's not bad either. But the gameplay is really solid imo, which keeps me entertained. Now if only i had some friends.

been looking at this game all day. Bit tempted to play I got to say. I like the borderlands style of gameing. But i've been so burnt by mmos in the past that I hardly look at them anymore. I might wait awahile and see where it's heading endgame and pvp wise
Got a few friends playing this at the moment.. but just looks like ill get bored of it fast, or knowing my luck ill get into it and they will fook off!
I think I'll wait a bit and see what happens, hopefully price drops once the hype settles, only thing is, that you'll miss out on any ingame "events" that they run parallell with the show, if any.
Found it for: 36.34EUR/48$ or 312SEK for Digital Deluxe version with discount voucher @ fast2play.
Costs ~80$ with discount voucher and 99.99$ without @ Green Man Gaming.
G2play looks fishy but it costs 335SEK there probably like 316-320SEK with discount code and probably lower if you use your points if you have any saved up.
Defiance’s first major patch, designed to fix a lot of the server, connection, and bug-related issues plaguing Trion’s MMO, has finally launched. Unfortunately, it disables the game completely on Xbox 360.
According to users on the official Defiance forums—and now confirmed by the developers themselves—the Xbox 360 version’s update has caused a game-breaking error. Users are reporting that post-patch, trying to boot up Defiance only delivers the following Xbox 360 game error message:
“Game Error: The game couldn’t start. Try downloading the game again.”
Trion Worlds acknowledges the problem, and are currently in the process of solving the issue. We’ll report on this more as the story develops. For now, hold off on trying to play Defiance until Trion repairs it.
Both the PC version of Defiance and the Xbox 360 version are down for maintenance. The PS3′s patch has not gone live, and remains unaffected.
So every PC user is basicly waiting on them to fix the Xbox 360 version?
Apparently there are no checks done client side if the game files have been altered, so you can edit stuff in the files like weapon stats. Would probably eventually lead to a ban if they check logs of damage done etc.
