Hi, I guess this is thread mostly directed to Swedish people but if anyone has useful information to contribute with it would be much helpful.

I have a bit of  problem, I'm living in Sweden and I want to fill out an form equivalent to the British Do Not Ressucitate which would relive me of the privelege of being brought back to life should such an event occur. But as it seems as far as I know Sweden doesnt have a form like that, and according to the Doctors I've spoken to it's not something they would intend to give me. They allthough said that if I'd like I could be at all times be carrying a paper saying that they do not posses the legal power to bring me back to life, but then he followed up with the information that any doctor would disregard this paper. So currently I'm thinking of seeking up a legal party such as a lawyer, but I'm not quiet sure how such a document would be designed nor if the information would be disregarded by a doctor.

So the thing is, I want a form saying no one can ressuitate me if I were to die, anyone have a solution on how I can make this happen? Any doctors or legals out there?

You have some options when you fill out your donor card on http://www.socialstyrelsen.se/donationsregistret

You will need a BankID on your computer though. It was very long since I did this so please let me know what it said.

Also the options is only when you are on life support. There is no thing stopping for CPR or the electric equivalent. Not sure how you meant with the asked question.

There is also problems for Jehovah witnesses because they can not take blood if such a situation would occur, might be a place to turn to and ask about that kind of stuff.

I recall those options being on my insurance when I filled it out. I believe you have a tax enforced healthcare system there so contact someone over there to see what steps you need to take, unlike the doctors they want you to die as quick as possible so they will be much more helpful.

Yeah I'm already a donor. It doesnt really have the options I required, let me clarify my question since I came of as a bit cloudy the first time.

If I die or come into a position where I am require lifesupport, no one is allowed to bring me back to life or issue lifesupport.

Actually, they give blood to Jehovah's anyway if it's a matter of life and death.

Sorry Sweden is not tolerant against people that want to die when they die.

Yeah, I know, they want people to live as insufferable as possible as well.
