I really like the design of ps4, was expecting it to be alot bigger and then seeing slim versions later on so sony did good this time spot on with first design release.
But is the PSU build in or not, i hope so for having a huge psu on the floor sucks.
MS regardless of the DRM issues have over priced there console and forced the Kinect crap down everyone throat.
Remove the Kinect make the price more appealing and stop with the world domination DRM crap then they might have a good console until then they will struggle.
Microsoft has announced an almost full reversal of the controversial digital rights management features built into the Xbox One. The console, launching later this year, will no longer require an online connection, or need to ping the Microsoft servers every 24 hours to hang on to life. It will also now play discs like any regular console and no longer place restrictions on trading games. There will also be no regional restrictions.
Hahah cant stop laughing hard at this one, they knew they fucked up bigtime and had to do something major to have a chance at the console war.
Now remove kinect shit and its starting to actually look much better, and we really need a box without all the tv shit which tons of people in europe wont give a crap about, so we get under 500bucks.
Wow, that's quite a reversal. Good for MS for listening to the public outrage and adjusting their position. Although in the end, this was a buisness decision. Their big brother crap would have lost them huge amounts of sales. The kinect-2 camera is still pretty frightening. A camera so advanced, that's connected to the internet, peering into my family room still creeps me out.
What a way to sell always on kinect to people. Make up shitty always online requirements, then remove them, people buy xbones with kinects like hot bread.
To be fair, the Kinect is much less of an issue when the console is Offline because the camera can’t particularly send data back without an Online connection.
I don't get why they can't allow you to install games on HDD and not use the disc if you have checked in every 24th hour, and then check every hour if you aren't using the disc. But if you are offline you have to use the disc to play the game.
The way the console was before actually was better for me personally, but I dunno why they can't design the system for both cases in a way that would work with their infrastructure.
On another note, after this news broke they have surpassed the PS4 in preorders at amazon.
