I have mine now and have had a friend of mine for a while. I think its great fun if you just want to game a bit. Now i use my pc for 97% of my gaming, Nothing compares to it but the Ouya is still great fun. Like it much better than my Wii which is now in a box. Some fun games on the Ouya, some are ofc on the phone/tablets to but playing it on a big screen is great. I don't get all the hate aimed at it. You get what you pay for. It's a cheap console for small and fun games. It makes no noise, you can mod it as much as you want and if you want most play store apps work. Some are strange since they are touch based but i have sent over a bunch of apps from my Note that work but since they ain't native they are a bit silly at times
I'm just looking forward to being able to sideload my own APK's. Cheap mulitmedia machine to stream stuff from main PC etc. Towerfall is amazing but it's pretty pricy for what's essentially a mobile game and I just can't justify some of the costs they are asking, so will look forward to sideloading those too...
My Ouya actually arrived on Monday but was held at the post office until I went to pay the damn £16.64 customs/import fee. What's annoying is my flatmate also ordered an Outa (few hours after me)... His arrived 3 days sooner AND didn't get slapped with any extra fees. Bit annoying that...
