Not like its the first time shops announce games month/years before even released, GTA5 wont be comming on PC before rockstar offiicial says so, console versions gonna be done first like usual.
Tbh dont expect it on PC before next year sometime, i really doubt they are gonna finish up a pc version in 1½-2months for xmas sales just not gonna happen guys, get a ps3/xbox360 or wait.
You know the PC version won't be out alongside the console versions, stop hoping.
Well hope it's coming out for the ps4 as I've just sold my ps3 and 360
I've read that it is very likely that GTA V will also be released onto the new generation consoles (PS4, Xbox One) and that the worlds will be more heavily populated (more cars and people) than the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
If this is true then I'll be buying a new gen console sooner that expected.
I've also read that there will be a PC version since the Xbox One has similar architecture to a PC.

In a interview with rockstar they said the reason for ps3/xbox360 versions was there was a huge market already, ps4/x1 market isent gonna be big enough for a good while for making a version, but dunno they might release it later on but just seems stupid as i doubt many will be willing to buy it for better gfx/small changes in world if they already played the game.
Plus, they're re-using the same engine from GTA4.
If they went with Xbox1/PS4 then they'd have to either upgrade to a whole new engine or drastically improve the quality of RAGE for the new consoles. Otherwise the game would be considered under-whelming, people would use it as a flagship next-gen title which it obviously wouldn't be.
Also they're probably not too familiar with the new hardware yet...
It's bad timing overall but it'd be really risky for them to go next-gen so soon.
No no no, GTA 5 will be on the next consoles, and that will be a sight to see.

It's actually the updated version of RAGE, like in Max Payne 3 (maybe even tweaked more?) which is quite a bit of a step up from GTA IV. So it's not too shabby really, but GTA games were never about the graphics anyway.
What I was hoping for was a new gen true 1080p version running @ 60fps with a very busy and bustling world and a huge draw distance all on bluray disc.

My god, Rockstar.
I feel like they've been working towards this since GTA3. They improved the game to San Andreas and then had to switch to a new engine and console generation so they were setback a few years.
Now they polished up GTA 4 and re-added all the old features, AND MORE, and now we have this.
It's a product in the making of the last 10 years or longer.
Just insane. I can only hope that the trailer isn't bullshitting us and the game ends up being like they describe it.
Also I've never seen a trailer like this from rockstar. A video playing and a narrator describing the game's features? That's a new one.
Game Of The Mother Fucking Year! I can't wait for PC, I'll have to buy it for the console first and then again for the PC! Once again Rockstar is a safe bet for quality games.
One of few game companies that acctually expand their games. Gameplay looks awsome, but now what caught my eye is this multi player. That can be real awsomness. It can be a game worth to w8 for.
If only the entire industry worked this hard to make games, the world would be a better place! 4 years of work minimum per game!
If only the entire industry had infinite of access to funds you mean.
Well, they have actually good policy. They have 1 major title = GTA which makes trucks of cash and only couple lesser ones like max payne, Red Dead Redemption, Midnight Club etc. which also makes trucks of cash, cuz they had all that money from GTA series to invest in those lesser titles. Blizzard does the same pretty much, but on smaller scale with only 3 major franchises.

So Rockstar never made a gameplay trailer with a narrator? ^^
Just watch these Red Dead Redemption Trailers! All are different and tell their own storys.
In germany we even got our own german narrator with a very good voice (even if the game itself was only in english)

I'm pretty sure that was aimed at companies like EA and Activision, who have access to infinite funds and yet still shove out the same crap every year.

Sure they make a bundle, but still, one really shitty AAA-game and they are deep in it. Which is why they dont try much new things with AAA-titles. Mirrors Edge being a glorious exception of awesome, which still didnt make all that much money afaik.
