If it starts a specific process (that is, the process name is unique) then you can schedule a BAT file to kill it and restart it.

Otherwise... I'm not sure what you could do.

Well it does start java.exe...

So i guess it is doable with Windows Scheduler.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to do the same thing on Ubuntu?

I'm still not sure what OS to put on the server...
(As low idle RAM usage as possible to allow the Minecraft server to use most of the RAM)

Yes... I'll have to make some sort of plugin for this...

That could send the server a command to save&stop and then restart it...

But first, the hardware.

And then hMod 133 is released... Which breaks my plugins. Wonderful.

Okay. So the dedicated server machine is being a jerk. I have the server software itself set up though...

So guess what. Non-dedicated for now. 2 gigs of RAM will be allocated, and I'll try to run it 24/7.

Send me a PM containing your Minecraft username, and your preferred position. (Player or Moderator)

As soon as I have 1 Moderator, I'll post the IP and turn on the server.

If it`s the same as the first time I tried it, keep the mouse button pressed instead of continuous clicking. That doesn`t work.

You have to punch the log of the trees to get logs. And then you transform the logs in wood to make tools.

The server is running very good I must say. lots of cool builds on the upcome. Must say that Fakaas tree is pretty darn cool. Its huge!

EDIT: For a moment there I thought it would be super-cool to build more of such trees together, with roap-like bridges between them.

yeh that could be cool.
very much happening on the server, and its just online for some hours.

but at the moment im super pissed because lava is a dirty asshole and i hate lava especially in caves i hate it.
its even more hatefull when you have all your tools on you ...

Gawd it sure takes time building my epic building, also, found a big cave a bit past my house where i found some dungeons and shit with a lot of diamond in it, well not a lot, found 5 myself. Going back there tomorrow and exploring some more when i've restocked with porkchops and so on.

Makes looking for diamond even more worth it.

Without a map editor, that is.

But, all monsters spawn in the dark... *wink wink* *nugde nudge*
