Exactly how complicated is it to grow inside? You need lights and a filter for the smell... Is that it?

TheBlues, you need fans to regulate temperature, you need to check the PH of the soil, its not that easy :/

Checking the pH value of the soil doesn't sound that complicated but to regulate the temperature sounds like a bother. What kind of fans do you need?

You can use computer fans if you can figure out to connect them. But they are necessary if you are interested in strenghten the stem or you are growing in the summer. Else the plants, in my opinion, will do fine without.

You need a grow medium, light and water (nutrition is optional). Easy strains for beginners would be lowryder or any autoflowering sort. And you need a carbon filter for the smell. If you are not using a closet (with mylar or white paint to reflect light) you need a grow tent, so expect to spend, including seeds n' all, ~250$ my guess.

i don't like growing in soil and growth rates are poor, i've been using bubbler's (DWC) for years and there's nothing to it really.

lights, grow system/medium, feed of some sort, way to measure/adjust PH and ventilation most people use inline duct fans i use 4 inch ones.

Just recently found out you can get weed delivered to your door in Cali.

I'm movin to cali next week, so this works out perfectly.

Can anyone in cali tell me what the headshops are like there? I'm thinking of ordering a sweet bubbler from everyonedoesit, but if they got badass pipes out in Cali i might as well wait and save on shipping...

I been wondering what's easier to grow at home. A small batch, for use only. Prefering a mix strain of sativa and indica. Anybody?

The best strains are sativa (imo), but they are harder to grow. Why don't you settle with the autoflowering strains if easier is your game? There is also (my favorite amongst all!!) chocolope. It's sativa, it smells great, taste great.. a unique strain (and very sought after).

You really do not need expensive equipment to grow for yourself. If you are worried about electricity then CFL bulbs are perhaps you thing. You get great small batch results with them on autoflowering strains. Lowryders for example are easy. They do not grow very tall, so requires less space... but it all depends on your style.

Indeed, chopped it with ~80% cloudy trich. This batch is for use during daytime as it gives you a nice uplifting high.

A cool new thing I tried was add two orange peels to the curing jar and the bud smells great!

What way does people smoke their weed around TB?

I always prefered a simple joint. (And yes Im from Europe, so we mix with tobacco around here.)

At times I smoke a bong, but when it comes to pipes I just don't like em.

when i do smoke it, i would smoke it in a joint just, with tobacco

last time i took bongs with grass, i was awake for 2 days drinking, then took about 5 bongs, went up and threw me guts up, went home to bed lol

years ago when i smoked it nearly everyday, it was just bongs and more bongs, but when i stopped really smoking it, just went with joints, couldnt sit and take bongs now, but i bearly smoke it these days

I mostly smoke using home made bongs out of water bottles. Have bunch of small glass bongs too. I also smoke using spliffs and blunts. I tend to change my smoking technique by the season. Last year I was vaporizing.
