No it doesnt, its not even in the same category. HoN is supposed to DotA with a standalone engine, new graphics and such, and with some improvement choosen by S2Game.

League of Legends, is an enterily diffrent game, it just happens to be inspired from DotA, so stop the fucking arguing.

You know, LoL is supposed to be the new DoTA, it even has some of the DoTA creators with it.

HoN sucks because of some easy shit, the UI is crappy and it's to messy, the menu is also messy, it's hard to notice things and navigate around in for firsttimers.
LoL is also more aestetically pleasing and looks a lot better.

Some people like LoL and some people like HoN.

LoL is not "the new" DotA and never will be.

Just like HoN won't be the new DoTA either.
Was just pointing out to him that if one of them would be the new DotA, it'd probably be LoL because of who the devs are.

Are you serious? I didnt say that one of them was, but HoN is closer to DotA then LoL, but the games are not to be compared thats what I said, learn to read post before making a cocky reply..

Besides, Im not saying HoN is better than LoL cause its closer to DotA, I just pointed out that it was. I really like the gameplay and ideas with LoL, but they are to far away from the DotA to be called "new" DotA.

So read what I said again and then replay if you want to.

Btw Anivia is pretty fun to play... but lost because my team mates were crap... i made most kills with this slow ass Anivia >.<

Yinchie as a top 500 player myself I just want to commend you on your Poppy item build, for a low level player its really good.

Sometimes i have a 5 win streak then a 5 lost streak! Always changing tiers i think. Anyway i play really shit so it's no biggie!

I just started playin' and i guess i need some help cuz i created account and downloaded game from http://www.leagueoflegends.com/ .
Is there any difference in game client from www.lol-europe.com/ ?
I'm EU player btw.

The client you downloaded is for the US servers. Like I said previously in the thread, it doesn't really matter what server you play on as long as you have a stable connection.

i guess i will try EU client after all. Maybe my pings will be better or smth and i will not have to reconnect all the time

If you are from EU, than yes the pings are quite good.
For me my ping is between 30-75.
When I was playing on the US server, around 100-200.

More people on the US servers though.

Well, gotta say thanks Yinchie, after reading this thread I decided to give Poppy a try, I have been playing Warwick and Yi (Still love both of them, especially Warwick), but damn do I love Poppy, lol. Been having a lot of fun using her, and your build works pretty damn well. So thanks for introducing me to a new character!

lol and less leavers on US! I played 6 games on EU and i had 5 leavers, 1 win.
Then after a while i tried 6 games on US and only 1 leaver 4 wins

Btw my favorite heros are Nidalee(it feels like playing dr00id in WoW

) and Teemo. Both are super cool

Found out Udyr is fun to play as well, require a lot of stance dancing though.
For some reason I like to play those classes that you do not see often.
Udyr is quite powerfull when played right.

I've been playing Singed for a while and I love it... 7 win 0 defeats...

84 kills - 16 deaths - 28 assists

It's easy to play... but very hard to master... You need to pay a lot of attention to the game...

I've never seen another Singed playing... but it's pretty strong.. poor guys who follow me when I have low life and die to poison... lol

My team can be so stupid.....
Felt like I was doing most of the work...
Even sacrificed myself several times, just to get inhibetor (typo) and tower down...

Here is a score of a 71 minutes battle.

Damn he's just the littlest cutest ball of pain ever. Nothing beats having an escape route covered in shrooms and combined with the move quick skill you can get out of anything in a bind.

I'm level 18 now, and pretty much the 10 last games I've been in people have either ragequit from their own mistakes or have just been plain AFK. I want to be level 30 NOW! >: (

Yea, i had a streak like that recently and im lvl 30... Sometimes MM likes to fuck with you, i hate those bastards... Lucky for me, my cousins play this game daily, so i can easily make 5 man premades and win some matches!

The new champ they are releasing, Malzahar, looks fun but not my time. The pet thing seems awesome though!

I'm not sure if I'll ever play him. As is, I enjoy Pantheon and Blitzcrank ALOT. : )

Going to put all focus on Pantheon when I reach level 30 though.

My favorite champ is nasus, great one indeed. I like ashe but i don't play her anymore because it is so easy... Pantheon is sort of lost between the nerfs and buffs they gave him. He needs some rework, i mean, he is devastating early game but loses to late game. Also, gangplank rocks!

Yeah I have seen a LOT of quitters and AFKs lately, been getting really annoying. I still really like playing Poppy and Warwick, but Ive been trying a lot of random people lately, trying to find a ranged character that I really like.
