im an EU player, but lately i only play on US, since the servers have been crap.
one of the reasons for the shitty server situation, is the fact that the game has become really popular, and the number of new players is too much for EU servers too handle(so yes the splitting of the EU servers is not that bad). also LoL has been DDos-ed bij lolsec, that made sure that the servers were down for some time.

spectator mode wont come out untill season 2, wich they announced.


oh, and the scandanavians shouldnt QQ about them being in nordic EU server, cause we got ALL the French people(They suck more, trust me)

Fuck it, i'd rather be west than east because east have a lot more crappy players who refuses to talk to their team in english so noone understands them.

And no, it's not a good thing splitting EU apart, it's a shitty greedy move, they could've gotten asia their own server since they're playing on EU.
Also they could've bought more servers to accomodate the new players, you know, like pretty much every other company do nowadays.

The issue is not the hardware its the software. It can't handle so many players the only solution is to split EU up.

Sure it might be part of the problem, but it's a very small one, they need to gave asia their own server, just like US and EU has the problems would go away.

If you can't see that Riot is fucking EU over and splitting us apart (in the most idiotic way possible as well) then it's really no idea discussing this.
Not too mention that the whole forum was and is in a fucking uproar over this and Riot still won't listen.

Fuck it tbh, until they get their shit together i'm not going to be playing LoL. I'll be waiting for DotA 2 instead.

The number of red posts on US versus EU forums kinda shows what part of the world they care about the most (16/3 ratio).

Yes it is software, if it would have been hardware issue they would have solved it ages ago. Believe it or not all these down times costs them lots of money. And this split is splitting up the population on two bases shows it's all true about the software issue.

And my opinion would be that they would split up the population after the germanic speaking countries and the other side gets romance. That way we get two equally big sides and even if the people on the servers would speak their own language there is a big chance someone from another country is going to understand some parts of that message.

It might be a software issue, but it's a very small issue better solved by buying more servers and giving Asia their own region. We are what makes the game and they're screwing us over with this bullshit.
And i'm going to bet on there still being queues after the split, mostly because everyone with any sense is going to use their free transfer to migrate to EU West where all the competition are, and the players who can actually talk with their team in English.
Yes, they could've done the split alot better, Pretty much only Finland has something incommon with the eastblock in Europe. Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland have a lot of stuff more incommon with Germany, the UK and so on, both language and culture. But hey, Riots are idiots we all know that.
Also, there wasn't any real problems on EU "ages ago" it all started after the DDOS attack by lulzsec which was just a few weeks ago.

wickd is the type of player only saying "u mad bro" and "u jelly bro". Then he reports enemy team if they play better than him saying "matchmaking will be better if you report unskilled players".

Since the patch hit today, does anyone else US side having trouble targeting the turrets?
Had a wicked game going.  Took out all mid turrets. 

*BAM*

Couldn't attack anything after that.. Got the good old "No Sword" icon...

So i stuck to champions and minions...

Happened the next game too...

That has actually never happened to me, I play on EUW though. Probably some buggy thing with the new patch.

Any thoughts on the new champion? Hecarim?

Oh, and, anyone need a teammate that plays pretty much anything? (EUW)

It's happened to me before..  Pain in the ass..
Today(before the patch) i kept having Fiora popping up beside me and vanishing.  Nearly shit myself the first 4 times..
12 minute queue to get into the game after the patch....

New champ is a lot of fun.  Only been able to beat him on Udyr and Yorick..  destroys me on all my other characters so far until i get used to him..  His ulti atill catches me off guard..

Just tested Jungle Tryndamere, 28/8. It's just ridiculous how OP Tryndamere actually is.

Can't add anyone because Riot is messing around with the chat system. Kinda annoying, but I guess I'll SoloQ or something.
