Been playing this game since it launched, been streamed every now and then on solomid.net together with Grackis, Messiah and the lot (if anyone's familiar with those names).

I like HoN really much. One thing is, that when I was a noob, my PSR went down like a madman.
Now, whenever I play, I always play with noobs, so my K/D every game is just above 1:1 because I kill, but get killed by the whole enemy team :s

Sure, HoN is better for competitive play, but I'd rather have a good community over a large enough map(ye, that's pretty much the only thing that makes LoL less suited for competitive play, the size of the 5v5 map).

Fun game overall. I just don't like it that most of the people buy the recommended items which makes it boring. You need to be creative and buy different items depending on who's in your team and who your versing.

Um, unless you're going up against complete off-builds, then every hero has a very specific build (with some exceptions). For instance, TF should always go Attack Speed, Nassus is a aura-wh*re and needs his sheen, etc. etc.

You build a hero to excel at what he/she/it does best and then you mash qwer until the other team is dead

edit: However your recommended items are not always what you *should* get, especially when it comes to heroes that have been reworked since launch (like TF).

always get bored of these kinda games, always morons in your team that wanna solo so you have to face 5 heroes alone

only reason i tested it was because of the iphone game is super

This game is seriously addictive, I suck pretty hard more often than not, but I keep playing it over and over.

If you get bored with random PUGS perhaps you try throwing together a team. That way you know the morons beforehand.

Been playing it for a few days! It's fun.. But nowhere near the quality that HON has.
You cant deny creeps/heroes/towers and you dont loose money when you die, which makes it easy mode.
The heroes is not balanced "at all" like HON is.

I do like the fact that it is free. And the fact that you can unlock heroes by playing/winning.

Im not a HON fanboy, i play LOL everyday, just mentioning some of the annoyances LOL has in my opinion.

really like this game, one irritating thing though is that sometimes client crashes before i get to play the game and then i can't reconnect to the game, have been posting on their forums some time but i never get a clear answer whats wrong =(
something like 50 of 150 has ended up like that so now i have 50 permanent leaver mark on my profile

great game though, like it much better than HoN

LoL it's fun...

I switched from HoN... The community is just awful, everyone flaming everyone in the team, till someone gets angry, leaves game and the other team wins easily... Good game ruined by the community...

And LoL community is better even if the game isn't as good it wins over HoN...

Tbh, the only reason it's like that is because the majority of the DotA-community decided to go for HoN over LoL, as it's a bit more suited for competitive play. Nothing to do with it being in open beta, as the same kids will most likely be buying the game in an attempt to enlarge their epeen.

My second favorite character

Poppy & Pantheon.

Just played Poppy for first time and wow I am amazed, Poppy can take on 2 people with no problems if those 2 are melees, haven't encountered casters yet.

Poppy, the offensive heavy dmg dealing tank. Me LIKE!
With cooldown reduction items, you can keep on chasing runners and you always kill them afterwards if you aren't low HP and a tower killing you ;p
Even if you stack armor items, you are still able to deal HUGE damage, thanks to Trinity Force.

I start first by getting gold for Sheen - it makes you hit HARD with the skill Devastating Blow.

I love Warwick, i pretty much rape people with him.
Just had a nice game of 27/3/6. Those 3 deaths were only because i wanted to destroy inhibitors to finish the game, suicide missions.
Anytime i went hunting though, i could take on 3-4 at a time solo.

MR > Poppy, CC > WW

WW is a pretty strong hero, though, that extra 1v2 lane from the start is a potential gamewinner, especially if Zilean is the one holding the 1v2.

I never really do firstblood, since the ones i meet seem to have some common sense to not rush in not prepared. xD

But i do enjoy going around and killing people once i reach level 6, hehe.
Not exactly a good teamhero, but he is an excellent hunter.

Saving 6300 IP for Cryophoenix (forgot name) because that's just badass.

By "that extra 1v2 lane" I mean that WW is the best lvl 1 forester in the game (which really is the only way to be a forester). He does it fast, he can keep up in levels and he's an excellent ganker. Not to mention that I don't believe any other forester beside maybe Udyr (which is not nearly as good of a forester imo) can utilize lizard buff as well as WW.

And tbh he is a great teamhero, he can keep one carry CCd for a good two seconds if not tended to and regardless of whether you get your entire ult off or not, you're still very likely to be in the middle of their carries. If something goes wrong, just get zilean to ult you
