So the back-story. I'm sure you see the beautiful circle scratch around the entire disk.

I didn't intend on buying this game for the xbox because I was about to play it on PC. Anyways a few days ago I lugged my tv and xbox to the apartment upstairs to LAN with a couple of my buddies. My friend had his xbox on the floor and was playing his new copy of dragon age, and as I placed my tv on an end table I forgot his xbox was on the floor out in the open, I stepped backwards and my foot landed on his xbox. Immediately I heard the disk get knocked off whatever was holding it up and spinning its thousands of rpms down to a halt on the disk tray. My buddies watched amazed as I clutched my mouth and yelled FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!! My friend opened the tray, revealed the perfect circle scratch, and I dropped my head in shame. He works at best buy so thankfully that knocked 10 bucks off the price of replacing it for him. Now I get to either visit blockbuster and try to get them to run it through their repair machine or use some Brasso to try to buff out the scratch.

That sucks ass bro. Exact same thing happened to us while we were trying to system link MW2 on the 360. Some idiot tripped on the ethernet wire causing the xbox to slam down on it's side and now we're left with a useless brand new (played 3 times) copy of mw2 =(

Took a bus to town to enjoy the first snow of this winter and got myself a hot good lunch:

I don't know exactly how they're called in English so I'm using Google Translate, hopefully it's close enough ...

ciorba de perisoare - meatball soup
mamagaliga cu tocanita de porc - polenta (?) with pork stew (mămăligă, wikipedia says it
s borrowed from Russian Мамалыга but it's an traditional meal course, known for centuries)
friptura de porc la gratar - a grilled pork steak

overall it's about... let's say 5$ and I was full ... I'll post more pics from my "trip" in the town in the random picture thread.
