what i mean with girly girly is all this triangle love story bs that the show relies on. He loves her, she loves the other guy, her friend loves him etc etc...

The show is decent, certainly much better than a lot of shows out there. Only thing is their accent sometimes gets on my nerves after a while

I wish I could be a vampire, I mean hell think about it. 90% of us are going to Hell if there is such a thing, so might as well become something higher up on the food chain while you can lol. Approach the idea like this... You don't believe in God or Heaven or Hell, then one day you meet a vampire. Now you've got to believe in those things. If your like me then the way you have lived your life so far would land you in Hell anyways. Thats the way I look at it anyhow. The show is alright, really not too great for me. My imagination can come up with beter stories.^^

I had the impression from the previews that this show was going to be about the vampirism and etc; The whole effect it has on the community as well as the political aspect of it. I was dissapointed to find it takes a secondary effect also when they started introducing shapeshifters and etc; it started to get very annoying. It's unfortunate, I think this show had alot more potential.

Well for vampires to exists there has to be a forgiving god so you would end up in heaven unless you would choose to end up in hell.

About the series, I see alot of similaritys with the Vampire Masqurade roleplaying game but True Blood series has alot of faults in it. The way the vampire society is buildt up and the way the rule it. Its like a house made of glass waiting to break. If they dont fix the mess up now we are going to be see a very bad second season and problably not a 3rd season.

No, I think cause vampires lack a soul they have no chance of going to heaven. Which also leads me to believe they dont go to hell either. So it might be the only way out of spending eternity in hell. lol

Thats from the fairy tales.
I don't think the word vampire was ever used in the bible but a person that drinks blood from another person is drinking its soul. Meaning they are doing a severe crime against humanity and everything that is divine.
But when Jesus let his followers drink the wine as it was his blood, it was symbolic like they got to take a part of his soul. As part of the sacrifice he did to the humans.


But as in this tv-series I doubt there is anything called heaven but we do know blood or soulwhatever is not needed for them to survive. But is a chemical booster to make them live. Much like the gasoline in a engine or pizza in Mario.

That's a very jehovah witness approach..  Basically, you just said that I am going to hell because I have taken blood transfusions.

I watch this show while doing something else when there's nothing else to download, I hate myself for selft-inflicting every scene which doesn't feature Eric 'cause he's badass. That pretty much summarize my level of excitement, hovering mildly above zero.
