I'd also like to post a thanks, it's been an amazing ride! I've been a member for 8 years, I didn't actually think I'd been a member for so long, or almost as long as this site has been up and running. Quite amazing.

I've been reading these messages on the front page about this site shutting down, but this has been going on for a while now and I guess you guys behind the scenes have been fighting for this site for a while now, but now I guess it's over, for real this time? Does anyone know how long we have left?

It's going to be sad to let you go

Seems to have stopped already.. I am part way through a last gasp download with 8 or 9 peers and then my dynamic IP address changed and now no connection to any. Still showing 10 seeds and 8 peers, but no movement. 91.4% seems to be about it then. Time to say goodbye, wipe a tear from your eye and find another slice of pie.

im just gonna keep posting in here, thanks to all the staff and everyone involved for the last few years of keeping the best torrent/community site on the internet going, wish it could last longer, but 8 years for a brilliant site like this is a great achievement, well done to you all

personally, il never forget this site, even tho i have never met anyone off it personally, i still feel ive made plenty of friends through the forums, and hopefully will still talk shite to most of them on torrentshack
