Cheers,
"It wont unrar torrents that were downloaded before the program was installed." - That explains UnRARd said "No" for each of the torrents, but indeed those are the torrents that were downloaded before prog was installed.
If I may ask, what difference does it make when it was downloaded? That tool guides winrar, right? So what's the big idea behind not unrarring something that was downloaded before?

Thanks for the help!
Because people probably dont want all their torrents that they are seeding to be unrared the first time they launch the app, which can be in the 100s. Also most of the time these torrents will have already been extracted and/or moved elsewhere.
It makes perfect sense to be, as soon as you install the app, it takes care of all torrents you download from then on.

Yeah, it does make sense, what would be cool though it to be able to force extraction of a torrent no matter what But oh well, I'll have to do some manual labor then.
Par-N-Rar Project Page Par-N-Rar is a graphical utility which accepts a directory as input and will repair/verify any PAR/PAR2/SFV/MD5 files in that directory. Once it verifies a set of files, it will attempt to unRAR them. Once it finishes unRARing a RAR archive, it will (optionally) remove the original PAR/RAR files.
Download here
Exactly what i had dreamed of .... 1.3 was crashing at first but after some google work i found out it was made by a TB user !!! Found the 1.4 here working great since then !
Thanks alot
I dont know if u own / maintain that site : http://autoextractor.enpts.com/ but if was you i would update that to 1.4 and add a Donate button
Autoextractor stopped working for me after the latest windows update last wednesday-thursday. I'm running XP 64 along utorrent 1.8.5. Windows closes AE the second it checks utorrent for new completed downloads I get the error message "Autoextractor has encountered an unexpected error and needs to close...
If twiglet releases the source code for that app (or at least pm me with a link to it) , I'm willing to take a look at it and fix the ocx and type mismatch errors.
btw... you don't need winrar installed when you can use the free unrar.dll straight from the app, so you don't depend on installed winrar versions (which may be 32 bit or 64bit and so on).

Does it need to be downloading for it to unrar? As in can I use this program to unrar say a season of a tv show when the torrent is already done downloading?

Anyone know if this clever little script will on uT 2.0.4 [21586] ..? As this sounds extremely handy.. as for why it does not delete the rars too, plain & simple.. just because it's reach 100%,does NOIT mean it's time to stop Seeding...
Geez I'll leave torrents on my Box for a year b4 I even consider deleting the Rars..(even then, keep the rars,as data on DVDs for re seeding in years to come .... excellent Application squire ... any feedback on whether this works using the above client would be most helpful...
Any Chance we'll get an update for this ? its not working anymore with Utorrent Ver 2.2 (dec 2010 update) Auto Extractor V1.4 was working great before that. That tool is a must, i think i will lose sleep over this if its the end of it.
Seems to be all that I can do for now.
Not a good solution in the long run since older ut clients usually gets banned from trackers.
Been screwing around with the resume.dat file with no success.

Well from the first inspection it seems to be a .NET application. That means that the source code is available with Reflector.

No, it's a Visual Basic 6 application as it installs VB 6 runtimes and the exe references MSVBVM60.DLL... aka microsoft visual basic virtual machine 60.dll
Well, at least v1.3 linked in the first post.
Besides... Active X controls are no longer used in .Net
