Yeah, in the past it used to be the other way around. TV SD logo was green, TV HD logo was blue. I don't know why this had to be changed?
Also the sorting of the categories is completely different so we need to get used to that too.
But for the TV section, I would suggest just "TV" and "TV HD" not "TV SD" because nobody uses the expression "SD" in every day talk. It only causes confusion.
I would also put Music/MP3 on top of the music section. Now it's Packs and FLAC first but I think MP3 is still the most popular category.
Just in general, sort the categories by most popular on top. I think it's easier for the users.

These aren't different enough?
Edit:

That's all it's about for some people. It is very much better now than before sortingwise. You will get used to it as has everyone else before when changes have occured. Give it some time and it'll be good.

I use SD in every day talk. I don't think it causes confusion, rather the opposite.

Packs are on top and will remain so, it's very clear the way everything is presented now. It really should not be a problem if mp3 is in the middle, you know where it is, it's in that column where all the music is, come on... Pretty simple.
No need to get upset (yes, I can sense that in your reaction). Just exchanging opinions here.
Before, the SD logo was green and HD logo was blue. Now it's the other way around. Why?
And I still think "SD" is a little bit exaggerating. Why not just TV and TV HD? People only uses that word in specific conversations when they techtalk about TV definitions. I've never heard anyone say "Oh, I have an SD TV"
Anyway, doesn't matter. Just wondering why some changes had to be made, which I think are not necessary. They don't contribute to the functionality of the site.
If you check movie category icons, SD is blue, HD is green.
You keep repeating the same over SD and "no-SD", it is as it is, live with it. If it is "OK", why keep bringing it up?
You were given the reasons for this.
"Nobody" uses the SD term, because it was not integrated to the language back in the day, nowadays HD is in the marketing language, so people sometimes use it. "TV" itself can be used for anything from those awesome one color boxes to a modern FullHD 3D LED HYPERMEGAREFRESH 0.1ms LUXURYCONTRAST 750000000000:1 Flats.
This way nobody should start to look for HDReady or FullHD content from said "TV" category.
I too noticed that today, but after clearing my cache I get the proper icons - try doing the same, and hopefully that'll fix it for you.
Probably worth noting that IE was the only browser I had to do this for - Chrome and Firefox both just displayed the proper icons.
No, I don't mean that. I mean in the past, "TV/SD" used to be "TV/XviD" and the logo was green and "TV/HD" logo was blue. Now it's the other way around and I was wondering why, but the answer is "mostly continuity"
I would rather see a few main categories and then subcategories, like Movies/Music/TV/XXX etc. and beneath that you have TV/SD, TV/HD, TV/Packs etc.
I'm not quite sure if this is a bug, an error or simply that it's not a top list 'change' item each year. I'd list it as an error, but I'm not in charge so I post here. However, http://tbnotify.enpts.com/ , doesn't have the Xmas logo on it.

Gotcha. Thanks much for the reply, and apologies for posting in the wrong forum category. I didn't realize the categories were dynamic in TBNotify and updated without a software update. I'm all set now.
I do really like the new SD and HD categories much better by the way. Thank you staff for running the best torrent site hands down on the interwebs!
Someone is probably hosting a picture (avatar or thread related) on some service your crap ass paranoid browser has been told that might've hosted something malicious once upon a time.
