rTorrent Message: Tracker: [Couldn't connect to server]
Lately I am having this all the time on my seedbox... anyone?
I'm using rTorrent as well, and I've been getting that message for probably a month now. But it only happens when I try to use this tracker. The staff here tell me my seedbox IP isn't banned, and that's about all I've been able to figure out about this problem.

I GET ERROR: connection limit exceeded
I know yesterday i logged on my girls computer(she lives with me) and tried to download desperate houswives to her computer but her computer is going crazy so i logged on to mine today and tried to download it and the error came,,,, deleted everything related to that download on her computer just mine online now and still get the error, what can i do to fix this ?
I'm also getting "Connection limit exceeded". Using Transmission on Ubuntu Karmic. Have not seen any issues before.
There are 27 (lots of duplicates) torrents in my profile listed as seeding. Most of them I removed days ago, and I turned my computer off last night and the night before.

There seems to be a bug in the tracker somewhere.
"Connection limit exceeded" usually means too many are connected and/or downloading with the same user. Wait for most of the duplicates to go away, or just for a long while. (day or so) The problem has always fixed itself with this stuff for me.
Yupp, it sure goes away after a while. But I would like to know why it happens, and fix it if it's my fault. This is the first I see of it, and my usage pattern hasn't changed. My router (WRT54GL with Tomato) is also set to kill dead connection after a short while so I doubt that's the problem.
It is not really descriptive and I did not bother to read through the uT errors list that is on their homepage. It is either the content or the .torrent. If it is the content a simple Forced Re-Check should clear it up, if it is the .torrent, redownloading it should do the trick. It can also be the configuration or 'continue' files the client creates.
Ok, thanks for the info tokol, it seems to be working now, after i re-downloaded the .torrent
I read on the uTorrent website that it meant that there could be some bad sectors on my HDD, which I would have been extremely surprised at, considering it's brand new...
It is not impossible for a brand new hdd to have (or start to generate, really fast) bad sectors.

hi....how can i update tracker on utorrent?...i have 1.45 GB upload in utorrent...and on tracker 1.34GB...i refresh the page....but same...what can i do to fast update?
on utorrent say update in 45 min...but if i want to shut down the pc now?
Im using SSL to be able to download, but since a week now i get this error:
Error: Invalid response from tracker
EDIT: solved the problem. I'm using KTorrent and apparently at some point the advanced option "Do not use KIO for tracker announces" causes this error. I unchecked it and it works now.. Weird.
