I have a bit of an unusual case and haven't been able to find the answer looking at the last few posts.
I've recently reinstalled Ubuntu on my machine (from scratch, new hard drive) and now i can't start torrents from torrentbytes, they all just sit at "connecting" with tracker status at "Announce Sent". I get no seeds or peers found and no details
I'm using deluge but have tried a number of other random clients including uTorrent through Wine, but none of them will connect to torrentbytes. Using different trackers, including private ones as well as public ones and torrents start fine, can download and seed without issue it's only torrentbytes that's having issues.
Port forwarding is set up exactly the same as it is on my XP installation with uTorrent which starts torrents from here without an issue, so i know it's not my ISP, client, the site banning me, port forwarding on the router, or any of the usual suspects. The exact same torrent that won't download in ubuntu will work fine in XP so it's not that particular torrent (they all do it though from the site)
I've tried both the standard version and the SSL torrents with no difference. It's got to be something within Ubuntu that's causing the problem but i have no idea what could possibly be preventing only torrentbytes tracker from having problems.

I have this problem: tracker sending invalid data: <NULL>.
Both with seeding and leeching. I´ve tryed out other torrents all have this very same problem, anyone know how i can solve it? please send me a message or leave a reply on this thread. ty
I was using 182 of uttorent and i noticed a tracker status issue: stalled updating.. then!! i noticed a torrent file had vanished without my doing.. just the torrent file not the physical file.. Be aware of this.. I am not saying it wasn't something else it may well have been.. just a heads up on this.. (still investigating)
Needless to say i went back to 181

Im having the same issue, and im running utorrent 1.8.3 on Windows 7 Ultimate. It just started happening this morning, not sure why.

I have a big problem. Today i have re installed windows, and now i have a problem... The problem has no numbers... It's written: "cannot extabilish connection with the tracker. The location computer is blocking the connection" (translated from italian to english). Does anyone help me please? I read the FAQ's and the error list but i don't found this problem...

Not ur fault bud. The tracker is down at the moment
I guess that might account for my utorrent tracker status of :
"no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"
Bizarre timing. Everything was seeding fine, my internet connection crashed for about 5 minutes, when it restarted, I started getting the message. I figured the site still had me logged on from the old IP.

hmm tracker still down? cause i keep gettin: "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"
It shouldn't be down no, try to restart utorrent? Worked for me.

Hi,
I just got myself a seedbox with rtorrent+rutorrent on it. If I now add a torrent, rtorrent gives me the following error message:
Tracker: [Could not parse bencoded data]
What is the problem?

anyone else getting this message from their torrents at all ...i did winblowz updates and i started getting this error message from here and a cpl other trackers...tried a system restore and that didnt help either...recently rebooted and still have a few of my files giving me this message but most are ok now..i have usually not got any problems like this before and am always connectable..my client is up to date and says im connectable on all sites currently utilized
all my settings are done according to all the forum settings on utorrent forum and here as well...i have tried all suggestions from all tutorials...worked bout 12 hrs so far on this mess...have even looked at the thing about the update with with micros**t half open connection patch with no help there either..any help would be greatly appreciated

This appears only with https link (ssl)
