I saw some ppl still have problems with error messages so i decided to make this thread. Some are also answered in FAQ but just for re-enactment. 2mods feel free to update it by adding another ones.

TTL has expired or it has been deleted.
Also the problem might be in your Firewall.

If you have a bad ratio, there is delay on new torrents. See FAQ for detailed info.

If you got this message set one of these ports 49152 - 65535 in your client.

You get it when your client is unable to open partially downloaded torrents. Reboot your computer should fix it.

Tracker is overloaded you can't do anything when you get this msg, just leave the torrents open.

Changing the client won't solve it some times, I don't use BitTornado and I still get that sometimes. I think you get that message if you're trying to resume a torrent which includes a file called .raidenftpd.acl, when it happened to me I just deleted that file and then the torrent worked normally.
not an error msg that i got but a problem nonetheless...dling Oceans12 xvid using bittornado 0.3.7, green light and everything seems to be working fine...except that it doesnt show in my profile that i have the torrent active...i've done manual announces but still nothing
also not showing me in the list of leechers or seeders for that torrent...
also did not pause or close the torrent at any time...so i am thinking it is a minor hiccup with the tracker at this time of posting becos i have checked my profile and the list of leechers previously and i was listed there
any other ideas?
Edit: ok it appears that it was just a temporary problem with the tracker...i left the torrent and client open and everything worked out alrite...so if u guys have a problem like that just leave it open...

"Problem connecting to tracker-{10053, 'Software caused connection error'}
I have used BiTtornado T-0.3.10, .09, .08, shut down A\V, Firewall, even tried a different computer, always get the same error message I am using a fixed wireless connection, and a friend who uses same ISP is having same problem now also. I am beginning to think that the ISP may be running some sort of blocking software as I had no problems before with same setup as of 3 days ago. Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated! Thanks
PS Forgot to add that this same error message comes up with two other torrent sites I use!

Try to change ports. Forward them. And then try it out.
I tried changing ports and then forwarding on router, still no joy.

When i try to update the Seed/Peer in ABC i get this
the blue is TB and the other is FL
all other trackers report the seed/peer results but TB won't.

ABC's scrape code is a bit less forgiving of improper BEncoding than the other clients you tried. The bug is probably in the site's scrape code.

I get this on two torrents, MX_vs_ATV_Unleashed_Usa_PS2DVD-GAMEOVER and The.Simple.Life.S03E08.PDTV.XviD-LOL.
Seems like nobody else get this error-msg? Any tips?
(Im using ABC [Yet Another Bittorrent Client] 2.6.9 on winxp home sp1.)

Just w8 until it get the status OK. Overloaded is overloaded u can't do anything about that.

Maybe i client issue. Try to reinstal the client or rebooting your pc. or in the worst part of it change of the client. Really don't know what it could be. sorry m8 if this doesn't help then i don't know.

What about this one;
(invalid reply: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to you MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND (peer_id =...)
This one shows up for one torrent, the rest that im seeding are working fine.

How about this one:
Status: Error: /down/load/path/folder/filename-GROUP/GROUP.NFO (File exists), open fails, flush fails when processing file 'filename-b.zip'.
I would stop and remove the dl and start it again and it just moves to the next file and the error returns.
I ran into this one while trying and unsuccesfully downloading a 0day pack.
I switched download directories and now:
Status: Error: /another/download/path/anotherfilename-GROUP/CD2/another.file.name-GROUP.r05 (No such file or directory), open fails, flush fails when processing file 'another.file.name-GROUP.r27'.
I even upped the cache size MB.
This time it was with a movie.
