Welcome to the serious debating forum.

This is where you can discuss the existence of politics and the effectiveness of God.

You asked for it, now here it is.
In return for torrentbytes staff providing you with a place to put the world to rights,
you are expected to fully comply with the usual site rules, as well as these important additional rules.
Failure to do so will result in severe consequences:- Warnings, forums bans, and/or loss of torrentbytes accounts.

Think before you post.

Flaming, trolling and spamming are forbidden, and will be dealt with severely.

Defending your point of view and righteous indignation are valid tools in serious debate,
but personal insults will not be tolerated.

Racism, Jingoism, Chauvinism, Xenophobia and all forms of fanaticism and abusive behavior are forbidden.

Criticism of alternative ideologies is permitted, but criticism will be phrased in a civilized manner.

Copying and pasting of articles is permitted, but only the introductory paragraphs are allowed.
If the readers find the introduction interesting enough, they will follow the link and read it themselves.
You will then express your full opinion on the article.
Your opinion will occupy more space in the post than the article,
or it will be deemed that you are merely trolling and attempting to stir up trouble.
This rule is intended to stop the "post and run" threads that have caused so much controversy in the past.

The Introduction of this serious debating forum means that religious/scientific/philosophical,
and political topics will no longer be allowed in the chit-chat forum.

These rules are non-negotiable, and will be rigidly enforced.
Because of the difficulty involved in compiling a definitive list of rules,
there is always the possibility of the disruptive element exploiting loopholes in the system.
There are NO loopholes. The Moderators decision is final.
If you care to test the resolve of the Moderators, you will find that this is a zero-tolerance zone.
