For the last couple months, this must be it. The real end. Too old now to go and look for a new site but if anyone do have some to give, kindly please PM me. If not, then the day TB die is the day my torrent carreer ends. It sucks but I don't have anymore random picture thread to lurk anyway. Thanks for the epic 7 years Tbytes...

What a shame been a member for 8 years and was a member of the first 1 before this.
Likewise if anybody knows a good alternative please drop me a pm.
So many of my private old sites that I was a member of went.
This is last 1 standing top quality torrents all properly listed.
Other sites are not in this league

Who remembers the begging for invites days on some of them ?

No one has the skills to remove the shit to hand it over, when I say shit, I mean staff secrets/forums.
BoB has a backup from a long time ago so that's not good for the forum content.
We won't get access to the host.
The domain is under fuck knows whose control.

The chances of this place carrying on are beyond slim, we need all this to carry on as we are.

It would need to be a new site and name, with a new host. We might as well migrate somewhere. I can't try anymore than I am doing, I can't pester Tokol anymore than I am (sorry Tokol) and Sniper is M.I.A.

You are doing a great effort Green, and tbh a lot of time, money and effort has been given by countless people to improve and make this place what it is today! That is why it's become this great, and why all of us will be truely sad when it's gone. But the most important thing here is the community, and that is something we can control our selves, if nothing else works, at least we can gather up in a new location!?

awesome site, been a member in some form since the beginning and the previous version.
I had given up on other sites, since this one was always the 'best' for listing and overall cleanness.

I will join the crowd - if anyone knows a few good sites, I will have no choice but to move.

It truly is a sad day and I hope the site can stay in some shape or form.

Big thanks to all the staff over the years for keeping the site up and running, its been a great ride with you all and I still have hope it stays open, you have been my torrent source for many years and I'm not quite ready to say goodbye yet!

Thank you Green for all you are trying to do, I lurk these forums daily and it would feel weird to have the site just disappear! but sometimes shit happens and even the best will can't change the outcome .

Im a lurker mostly. I was also around for TorrentByts as well. I have commented on some things, and have asked for help and all have been great and helpful. I know this was the first community id come to ask a question about certain things because of the knowledge base we have accumulated. Really hope something can be done. I usually just use TB for what I need to get... so this is a pretty big blow to me since Oink. I still haven't found a good solution to Oink... but at least this time around a lot of people have suggested a couple sites. Ive registered on them and both have been accepting TB Users with open arms. Its very nice to see this. Just wanna say thanks TB for everything... and hope sooner or later we all get to see each other again. Whether thats on this site... or somewhere else.

The problem isn't hosting a forum, it's getting the userbase there. Creating a new forum will only get a few on there, so the general plan is to keep TB running as a forum (you know that already probably). Now because apparently, - Green figured that out -, nobody is either willing, capable, or trustworthy to strip the proper parts, and make it run on a cheaper machine. So the way I see it things are a bit stuck atm.

Doesn't mean we should give up though.
