I really hope that always online isent gonna be true, internet down for few days and ure fucked a console u cant play on at all.
And both sony and microsoft really seems to be into stopping second hand games which is just stupid, or im sure there is gonna be a way if u pay 10-20$ to unlock game to your console but tbh fuck that.

Kinect was the downfall of Xbox. period, the games suck incredible amounts of ass and fuck Microsoft for forcing Rare to work on Kinect titles.
Rare was hands down THE best company back in the N64 days, what a waste of talent.

It's not really like playing with a projector. You still play using your TV, it just projects other environmental effects around you. Like say makes it snow isnide your room if you're playing some game on a winterlevel where it snows.
Just look at the video and you'll see what it's supposed to be.
I did look at the video and I definitely see how it would improve the experience. I suppose it depends on how much it will cost and whether games need to be built to support it or it plays around with the resolution. Seems like a gimmick right now, might turn out awesome.
Thought i read in the recent article that it's supposed to be coming as standard with every xbox, or i might have read it wrong. If it is, that's great.

So a cheapo (wireless?) projector? Why not play using an actual projector then?
as stated not really the same thing at all, i used to own a tv with similar tech (philips ambilight) and that really added to the viewing experince.

Occulus Rift? It's still in development with dev kits coming out in april according to their site.
Those will cost 300 dollars each. As for game support, I think it's just Doom 3 so far.

Downfall? every console has some form of it now... Rare is not the company it used to be, they got bought, you cant compare the 2 any more.
No, they need to change the design, make it a bit bigger and more ergonomical so it fits better in the players hands. And change the position of the left joystick, it's so fucking stupid the way it is now.
