Good, police in usa use those dogs to violate peoples rights.
Your car is stopped and if you don't allow warrantless vehicle search they bring the dog which then "alerts" and gives them the resonable suspicion to search your vehicle.
And then when nothing is found all kind of shitty excuses are given, while it is clear to eveyrbody that the dong never really alerted, it was just used as an excuse.

The death of the middle class was foretold decades ago. This comes as no surprise to me as it's just the means to the end.

Times change, as do job descriptions.  99% of the people I know are middle class.  There will always be those that are to  stupid, lazy, or stoned to make a good living.  Sucks to be them, but blaming technology is a farce.

Chicago Installed Thousands of Cameras on its Rail Platforms. Crime Jumped by 21 Percent.

$26 million to install 3,600 cameras and nobody watches them:

Quote:

It’s also possible, though, that prominent signage might make things worse by creating the false illusion of safety and watchfulness. This February, the Chicago Tribune’s Jon Hilkevitch reported that the cameras aboard CTA trains are not actively monitored by law enforcement. There’s no funding available for live surveillance, so the footage is stored for later downloading and review. (CTA spokesman Brian Steele told me that the on-train cameras can, however, be monitored by the rail operator.) As for the in-station cameras, the Sun-Times reports that they “can be monitored by authorities remotely, in real time.” Steele told me that the decision to do so depends on the day and the situation.

Thanks to local government that keeps lawful people from their Right to Arms,51 murders in the first 2 months of the year:

Quote:

Bodies are dropping left and right in Chicago—at least 51 murders have been reported since the start of 2013—and the cash-strapped police department is scrambling to prioritize its resources. At the beginning of February, the CPD announced that it would no longer respond immediately to 911 calls for non-violent offenses. This is likely one reason why they’re installing so many cameras—they’re cheaper than actual personnel. “We can't afford to have a police officer on every corner, but cameras are the next best thing,” said then-Mayor Richard M. Daley in 2009. But if they’re not being deployed strategically, the next best thing will never be good enough.

Yeah that crossed my mind in the last video of him at the mall.
I was thinking one day we'll probably read how he was shot in the back while walking to his car after work.

It can also be linked to a phenomenom called "the republican bubble".
It prevents facts and new information of penetrating and it's echoing your own voice, making you believing that what you say is true cause it's repeated by everybody you hear.
A famous recent example of this phenomenom was romney landslide (which was a fact for many republicans inside the bubble, mbodnar being one of them).

They better be careful.Kim Jong Un will launch one of his mighty rockets and accidentally hit one of those bombers, knock it out of the sky and claim victory. That's assuming that the rocket will make it that high, of course.
