Google yanks AdBlock Plus from Google Play, surprising nobody

Quote:

Google is in the habit of making a lot of people very upset lately, it seems.

The newest victim of Google whims is AdBlock Plus, which Google has taken down from Google Play, along with other ad-blocking apps.

According to Google, AdBlock Plus “interferes with or accesses another service or product in an unauthorized manner,” which Google says is a violation of section 4.4 of the Developer Distribution Agreement.

found this out the hardway when I did a clean install of jellybean on my touchpad, thankfully there are still some apk 'sfloating around.

No gun or ammo sales to  Fed/State/Local government agency's based on 2nd amendment abuse...

Firearms Companies Restricting Sales to Government Agencies in Areas That Restrict Gun Rights

http://cnsnews.com/blog/gregory-gwyn-wi … cies-areas

UPDATE: Number Of U.S. Gun Makers Refusing Sales To Gov't In 'Firearms Equality Movement' Triples In Two Weeks

Quote:

"[A] growing number of firearm companies have suspended the sale of guns to states, counties, cities and municipalities that restrict their citizens' rights to own them. In just two weeks, the number of companies participating in what has been named the 'Firearms Equality Movement,' has more than tripled from 34 companies to 118. The Police Loophole lists every company and links to the statements that each has released regarding their new policies. Wilson Combat, a custom pistol manufacturer located in Berryville, Arkansas, joined the movement on February 28 stating the following: 'Wilson Combat will no longer provide any products or services to any State Government imposing legislation that infringes on the second amendment rights of its law abiding citizens. This includes any Law Enforcement Department, Law Enforcement Officers, or any State Government Entity or Employee of such an entity. This also applies to any local municipality imposing such infringements. ... Wilson Combat will in NO way support the government of these states or their anti-gun agenda that only limits the rights of law-abiding citizens. Wilson Combat will continue to supply any product and/or service they can legally sell in these states to all non-government affiliated citizens.'" --CNS News' Gregory Gwyn-Williams Jr.

Only "big" name on that list is Barrett so I guess they'll get their firearms anyway. Lot's of European manufactures who will sell so it's nothing more than a statement to promote your own guns that the states wouldn't buy anyway. Or does the police run around with custom made guns from Mr Wilson?

#1524735 by Timex (Power User) at 2013-03-14 21:40:57 (4 months ago) - [Quote] - [Report]Top

They buy arms made in the USA no matter the company name/brand.

The growing list of company's will not even REPAIR or SERVICE government owned arms in a list of States.
The biggest thing is they will not sale AMMO to those governments or government workers...or police departments.

Now if the big 3 ammo makers get with the program the DHS will not be getting those 1.2 billion rounds "for domestic use" which is the cause of the ammo shortage for the citizens.

Total ammo count now is 2 billion rounds of HP ammo which is outlawed in war.

15 members of Congress ask DHS to explain way the need for "domestic use" while they strongly suspect Executive branch of back door attempt to keep ammo from the People.

Still quite common among law enforcement agencies. You're making HP ammo sound worse than it is.

just to put it into perspective...

Quote:

at the height of the Iraq War the Army was expending less than 6 million rounds a month.  Therefore 1.6 billion rounds would be enough to sustain a hot war for 20+ years.  In America.
