@Timex. Hollow points are used be nearly every LE officer, and have been for some time. They are also used by MP's on base. They are less likely to through-n-through and hit someone other than the intended target.

My Sheriff is a member of the Oath Keepers and as such our County does NOT receive matching funds from the Federal Government for Law Enforcement.

In the past year he has refused to jail BLM -regulation- violators and informed them he will ARREST them for violating state law for "impersonating Law Enforcement" a state felony the next time they bring a "prisoner" to be jailed.

The guy was restrained, not arrested, and there is no context as to why. We have no idea of what he was saying to the cops. There's no way, from the video, to draw any conclusions as to if his being cuffed was warranted. As for the dog, the cop did the right thing. The animal (a big scary rot) lunged at him and he protected himself.

The police officer did the right thing after having fucked up on several accounts. The irresponsible, film-making aficionado is also to blame for what happened to his pet. Had he possessed any reason at that time, he wouldn't have pushed in. You own a dog like that, you better bring a brain with you.

Bottom line, seems like "shoot this, shoot that, stomp over somebody's rights, harr yarr" attitude/mentality (as adopted by some TBy members) is more likely a rule than an immature coincidence. The situation could have been handled a lot differently.
