the only reason it is an "industry" now is the insurance companies realized that the majority of claims for "pains" are all psychosomatic and since most people are idiots who buy into this mumbo jumbo it is cheaper to send them there than to a real doctor. Let the placebo effect weed out the real sufferers.

Want to buy some land/time share?

Quote:

The Kansas caverns are 100 feet to 150 feet below the surface and have a constant natural temperature in the low 70s. They are supported by thick limestone pillars six times stronger than concrete and will have blast doors built to withstand a one-megaton nuclear explosion as close as 10 miles away, Vicino said.

Other than being surrounded by more than a mile and a half of 6-foot-high chain-link fence topped with sharp rows of barbed wire, the land above ground isn't distinguishable from expanses of hills and trees that surround it. The proposed shelter's entrances -- nondescript concrete loading docks tucked discretely into the wooded hillside -- are easily defensible against any potential intruders provided there's not a full-scale military attack, Vicino said.

Tokyo court backs Apple against Samsung

Looks like its another court case that Samsung "we just steal/ re-badge whatever Apple makes" has lost.

KFC Japan buys back owners suit

This is something I actually think was a good purchase in the fact that I believe the suit deserves to be owned by KFC in one way or another.

This guy had to be making a tremendous salary at Facebook.  To move from that to working for the government, with their lousy pay rates, is certainly odd.

Could he be involved in the 6 Million Facebook account "leaks"?
They are after all worth $50 USD  per account per year to Facebook alone.

How do they cost Facebook $50 an account per year?

Even if its true, most people who play any type of game on facebook usually adds random people from said game and those people can take any information they want. Any game you play wants access to your friends list, likes and contact information, so any ad company can make a good game and get access to a lot of peoples information anyway.

As I tell people, only put on facebook anything you don't care  being in the public eye.

Accounts don't cost Facebook, they earn Facebook by selling information.

I still argue that people should not blame Facebook but rather themselves. They don't demand all your contact details. You put up what you want people to see.

Child prodigy becomes youngest member of British Mensa aged just TWO… and he is already smarter than Barack Obama and David Cameron

A two-year-old has become the youngest member of British Mensa after taking an intelligence test that ranked him smarter than Barack Obama and David Cameron.
While most toddlers are busy learning to walk and scribbling on walls, child prodigy Adam Kirby enjoys reading Shakespeare, learning Japanese, Spanish and French, and even potty-trained himself.

I confess I`m not surprised. My only question is how well potty-trained are Barack Obama and David Cameron. Because on this matter I big doubts.

Artificial Brain

Scientists are putting huge effort to create an artificial brain that works exactly like the human brain and probably better! Creating biologically functional brains for human transplants is still way too far from reality, but the current artificial brains that are made of microchips pave the way for the most powerful and efficient computers the world has ever seen.
