Definitely a combination of costing too much, and the fact that each time i add a DVD-R to my collection, it makes me feel good.

Due to there being no option that describes what I do
I dont buy everything I download due to alot of the stuff being what I woudl call low quality or I simply dont like it and dont think it worthy of purchase
I basicaly use the "system" to demo everything I may want to buy ..
I proberbly buy about 2 or 3 dvd`s out of say 10 that I download and with games I proberbly buy roughly 1 or 2 out of 10 that I would download
this is mostly because only few games are worthy of playtime and a place in my collection as is the same with movies
Music is the one I dont buy much of because I Personaly dont rate alot of modern music and the modern stuff I like I already have usualy ..
Music downloads are usualy for the missus , I proberbly buy about 1 or 2 albums in say 25 that I download hehe

I hate to spend lots of money on something that was hyped up to be great.
Reviewing it before hand helps me to decide wether i'll buy it or not.

im not realy that bothered becouse i can leave my pc 2 dload and it saves time going 2 the towns 2 buy cds and dvds but if i am out and c something i like i will buy it im not a poor soul like most of the ppl that have replyed here lol

cost too much, i'm poor,
i dont have a lot of money because im a poor student so the money ive got i surtainly wont spend on games. When i will have a job later on time i will buy some dvd's cause just like downloading lots of movies and looking at youre collection gives you a nice feeling, so does watching youre collection of original dvd's (maybe even a nicer feeling since they look so nice)

The last thing i bought was a DVD
and it cost 27 euros... That's alot in my standards...
I think I have about 40 euros in the bank atm so it took over 60% of my
life savings to buy one DVD... That's a tad much imo!

The above answer is the best one for me. I have some money and i buy some legal stuff but it costs to much. For instance: DVD Troy (already a few months old)
- in shop > at least 20 euro
- my backdoor supplier > 4 euro (includes sticker on DVD and original cover. )
- friends at school > 1 disc in return @ 0.50 euro
The choice isn't difficult, is it???

But I bought the DVD of Phil Collins in the shop, it's great and i can't miss this one in my collection.

They will not loose if they lower it will only result in people buying more.
