Yes it is, although you could say that the alien bits over the seven or eight or how many episodes so far could pass for a watchable enough SyFy movie. Too bad they are diluted in 99 percent of DRAMA.
It's more like a combination of scifi drought and... well... well yeah us being masochists I guess.
Oh and I still have like ten minutes of the (final?) ep to go but I gotta say man this sucks. I mean it's managed to dip even below its own standards. Which is saying something. I was kinda hoping I'd power through the bs and have some alien action but the ridiculous drama, the stupid characters, the awful writing, the lame cgi is just too much. I take back my comment about the alien parts making for a decentish tv movie. Shame on me for watching the whole thing.
Maybe I should watch this show just for the lulz and so I can come in here and piss on it. Would be good I think.
Im still watching because Im a slave to scifi, but trust me even to goof on it its not worth wasting your time. As someone just pointed out the characters are the dumbest in the history of TV and the aliens are even dumber for wanting to take the idiot kids of people this stupid.
No really, I love post apoc shit but this isnt even remotely cool.
The season finale... what was that? A bunch of boring crap. They dumbed it down too much in my opinion and I just pray that season two will be better, smarter, more intriguing and have I dont know, lasers.

I will wait and wait and maybe someone will come-up with an excellent fan-made version, edited, all unnecessary drama and blah blah removed. Should be fun.
the show is fine unless you base what you watch on what 15 year old children tell you on the internet. The same people telling you not to watch it are the ones who pick holes in the plots saying things like "aliens come from another world and they blah blah blah blah?"
So these people have no problem believing in aliens let alone that they would invade our shitty planet. But they draw the line when it comes to something else. They have no problems suspending belief in logic only up to a point. They say "Aliens can't be that stupid" and yet how many aliens have they met?
Is thte show great? No
It is watchable? Probably depends on what you like and what you don't like.
Could it be improved and can it get better? Hopefully
Download an episode and give it a try...if you don't like it don't download any more. Pretty simple.
i watched the whole season and id advise you to hold on to the eps unless your really bored. theres better shows out there and i would just wait to see if next season picks up at all. this show definitely has potential but imo it was not worth the time i put into it.
