I watched the pilot and have been waiting for someone to say it got better before proceeding to ep. 2. I hate what they were doing with religion in Caprica, what they tried to do with SG-U (but loved that they got rid of all the believers), and now I hear they're doing it with this show. Bah. Remember how in one Star Trek movie and several TNG episodes they showed how wrong it was to believe in gods? That was good. Unfortunately they also "contaminated" DS9 a bit by adding religion to it.
If aliens arrive in space ships, that should be good enough to end all religions and beliefs...

I am ashamed to admit it but I have just watched ep 4 and man does it suck. I kinda wish they would release like a five minute youtube clip explaining the aliens and revealing the end. Spare us the 39 minutes of bs.
OMFG that female doctor is beyond annoying. Sooo lets see. First 10 minutes nothing happens. Then 15s of screeming and one guy is dead. What does she want to do? Oh yes, she still wants to talk, they can connect, maybe the alien even has a facebook profile they could tag each other in the pictures. Seriously WTF. Kill the alien, examine it, take the next one, rinse and repeat...But then PMS kicks in and she goes all crazy. DD

They need to kill an alien without any noise. HOW HARD IS THAT? Go get a frikin silencer, sniper rifle something, atleast in USA there are gun shops around town. Oh yea they have all been raided. But where are those people? Where is the army? The tanks and other hardware? Everything is destroyed? But they can't track couple of civilians? WTF.....I seriously doubt the entire worlds fighting capability is disabled seeing that aliens cant shoot on the moving car unles it has frikin flares burning on it. LOL LOL LOL

That drama is what draws in the female audience. The holy grail of television.

and with that episode Im done. There should honestly be some sort of a warning before the show starts that its a emotional drama targeted at a female audience and any resemblance to a scifi series is purely coincidental.

Alien tactic is really of super advanced alien force. Go in a party of two or three and search of bunch of hungry half old military half civilian refugies and then they just go report back and come with force. Seriously? Why not just roll over them all. Where is their airforce. How hard is to notice people going in and out of school. Use what ever you did to defeat Earth or it is to unconvinient for writers or maybe there is a District 9 like story behind it. Like maybe motherships left behind a small force. against my better judgement I watched this week episode and holy shit can this show be any more predictable than it is??!? It pisses me off that this garbage is actually getting good ratings.
