Whoa, that is a HUGE exploit, just looked it up on YouTube. Glad we didn't upgrade too soon, that would ruin the economy!

Ahh cool, the NPC plugin looks cool. We can have guards to roam the city to kill any mobs that may spawn...at least thats what I think you can do with that plugin.

The trading aspect of the NPC plugin might not be suitable...

Doesn't support datatypes...

So would mean no coloured wool or sapling/log - types.

Thanks.That was only a fraction of it all. I didn't have time to mark the area better.

Okay; NPC Plugin will be added when (if) there is a fixed 1.7 minecraft.

Dunno if I'm going to use it for the shop though.

Here's what I'm thinking:

Healers at the church (Heal you for monies)

Blacksmiths at... someplace? (Repair tools/armor for monies)

Guards patrolling cities (They're kinda buggy ATM though)

And maybe; Trader NPCs at the shop.

Dunno though... The shop would become REALLY crowded.

Would be VERY creepy with all those NPCs looking at you.

Showcase might be prettier.

Ohh, didn't realize you had to have a different NPC for each item sold, that would indeed get ridiculous!

Well I don't HAVE to...

It's just that that's the way the megastore is built ATM.

With a different chest for every item.

I suppose we could make it so there would be one NPC trader for every section of the store...
But that increases the risk of item loss incase there is a bug...

NPC plugin seems a lot more stable than RealShop though.

Ultimately, the choice is yours. (As in you, the minecrafters)

(Also, if there hasn't been an update before thursday, I will just throw NPCs into the current version.)
(Don't wanna make you wait 2 weeks until I can get some freedom from military service.)

EDIT: That, or just disable pistons until the bug is fixed.

I vote for whatever is stable and future-proof.

BTW, how is that season mod coming along? I and several helping hands are working hard on the wall, but come the long night, it will need lots of winter around it.

AFAIK, that's the only thing that is wrong with it.

EDIT: Server upgraded to 1.7.2!

EDIT2: Citizens (NPC plugin) added. Not configured yet though...

There is only one NPC atm; Dr.Healdude, who is at the church in circlecity.

Hit him with a diamondsword to have him heal you.

EDIT3: In order to prevent the dupe glitch, I need to disable one of the two piston types.

Which do you want to use? Standard or Sticky?

Server is having some lag issues ATM...

Gonna try to figure out what's causing them...

EDIT: Lag was traced to NPC plugin.

NPCs have been disabled.

EDIT2: Sticky pistons have been enabled.

Here's an idea:

Once the NPC plugin gets fixed...

Asgard Overhaul:

Add "Thor", "Loki" and "Odin" NPCs to it.

Thor would control weather. (God of Thunder)

Loki would tp you to the Nehter (God of Fire/Hell)

Odin would control time, maby spawn mobs of your choice.

FYI, malah, got a lot of work done on the wall today. Used up all the snow in all 4 chests.
We are over half way done now! (with the wall)
Then it will be on to the trees!

OMG, that would be crazy fun, and your the only person with enough experience with redstone to do it!

OK, I finished putting torches up all over store and surrounding area. Cane someone give me leaves so I can finish the hedge walls. The only area we need to decide what to do on is the street. Not enough light on the street to keep monsters from spawning. Replace the white stripes with glowstone should do the trick....is that OK?

Unfortunately I have a lot of stuff going on right now in IRL, but maybe in a few weeks. I already bought a new pc as my old one is pretty much finished. I'm gonna make a house with pistons so you can with the press of a button roll away the roof and replace it with glass.

I've seen way more impressive builds. How about the fully working digital clock? What about the video where they've built a fully functional pong game. And then there's the wave generator videos. All way more impressive than those. And then there's also the geek video where the one dude invented force fields and levitating minecarts all without mods.

Ahhhhhh, now I know why the stations weren't working, They NEED to be powered to work. Anyway to set in the config so unpowered=on and powered=off?

MinecartMania has always been unpowered=on.
Stations work fine, so do the rails.

EDIT: Weather used THUNDERSTORMS.

IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!

SERVER HAS FAINTED.

(lol j/k back once thunderstorms have passed)

Gonna be a while before I can monitor the server...

Well aside from building more of the wall in both directions, the next part would be Castle Black next to the tunnel. The area is already flattened and part of it covered by cobble.

I took a bunch of snapshots from the show to visualize the proportions and design of the castle, but don't have the time to organize them just yet. I'll post the pictures once they're organized. Maybe tomorrow.

And now for the bad news; my vacation is almost over and until I get a good idea of what my workload is like, I won't be online that much. Still a few days to go, so no worries, I'll finish the planning at least. I hope.

Edit:
Here are the pictures of Castle Black. I tried to arrange them so that it would give a 360' view of the courtyard, but uploading messed things up a bit.

The closest warp is /warp wall malah.
