Someone named killer1987 built a home near my retreat and I was kinda ok with that, since I hadn't exactly fenced the area.

What I am not ok with is a huge box that is almost over my crib and has covered a valley I had decorated with a waterfall.

If you want to build a castle, please choose another location.

HK should have a naming-sheet converting Minecraft player names to TB names... just in case such stuff pops up.

I don't really save the TBynames of every MC name i get...

That, and there are close to 300 of them now.

Also, BOSELECT was a hacking jerk.

EDIT: Okay... Lag is getting insane.

I'm gonna trim down the map and set limits.
The level of exploration some people have done is RIDICULOUS.

EDIT2: I've started using BigBrother.

ANY changes done to the world can now be traced a specific user.

EDIT3: Map "trimming" has been completed.

Beware, some warps may now be broken.
The world border has been set as a square.

You can explore up to 1250 blocks away from spawn.
(I did a backup before... Tell me later if this is too little, and I'll redo it.)

If lag is fixed, I'll sure be back to work on my tree... damn, I need to stop being lazy and work on that top waaaay more.

PS: Who broke into my weed farm and into the service tunnel? :evilmad:

At least have the decency to replace the cobblestones you broke, you bastard! :fist:

EDIT: Craaaap. I should not have placed all those saplings on the tree. Now it's so hard to work on the base and it's shape. :-/

I built a treehouse the last server. It was a really nice one. Really large. What you need is three things. dirt, saplings and bonemeal. Just make sure that you remove all of the base of the tree but one, so the crown won't disappear.
Also, invest in an axe if you haven't already. It really speeds up the process.

i wasnt hacking, i used a flying mod which you can easily disable use of with bukkit.

It's not good, because
a) trees will grow in various shapes and sizes and some won't grow at all
b) it's extremely difficult to add leaves to areas which have blocks over them; trees won't grow backwards

Right now I got some leaf blocks from HK. Already used them all up tho. :nugget:

Say, HK, wouldn't the best solution be to add them to the store? That way, other people could use them as well.

Except then the whole thing goes haywire for those who have been granted access to the Magic Carpet. Point is: you did something that you should not have done. If you want to fly, you use MC. If you can't use MC, then play nice, and perhaps one day you will be able to use it.

Absorb player range 4. Eject player range 8. Horizontal and vertical. Eject to lava surrounded by obsidian. Those carts are going back and forth at 100% speed. Some at 165%. 24 carts at the moment.

Why don't you just let the people play how they want, save griefing other players structures. I don't play on the server because;

A) The thing is down half the time to begin with.
B) Server isn't up to date with Single player world
C) Not allowed to play as I wish from what I hear on this thread all the time.

It's great that you have this server and but your guys need to lighten the fuk up. This ain't no FPS. It's Legos on steroids.

Go play solo if you wish to play how you want. When you play with others you respect the rules. The server is barely down and up to date with single player. Next?

It's a community server and the COMMUNITY should make the rules, else quit trying to act like it's an official TB server and call it what it is... Kakkaman's server.

Also, I do play solo. The server is too far away from my location to make it worth my wild.

I'm not saying don't respect other players. I'm saying that it isn't a big deal for players to mod a little if they wish. They don't hurt anyone, save their own game experience.

The damn server is running mods, so why can't the community that actually plays on the server do the same?

Oh and your "Next" comment. Shame.

That, and the server's been packed recently, with a lot of people playing and, apparently, being happy with the rules.

So... COMMUNITY it is. A minority does not constitute the entire community.

Mostly, when people get on and can play, they don't visit the thread any more; they just play. That's why a number of the posts mention the server being down for example.

PS. What about those leafs K?

EDIT: Also, while the server is running the same version as single-player, the fact that for a moment it wasn't had nothing to do with the servers admin being lazy or the server itself being bad.

this is what i assumed when i used flymod, on other servers admins are pretty happy with people using it, its really useful for building.

Okay... So let me get this straight.

First, you complain that the server is not exactly what you want it to be.

Then, you complain about the server being run by a single person.
(Fair enough... Except that no-one else has expressed an interest in running a server...)

And lastly, you accuse me of being overly defensive over something I regularly invest time and money into.

And you base all this on information you have gathered from other people.

And when it was suggested you try it for yourself, you say

Not only is that misspelled... But many people from the US play here... We even had a guy from Korea.
