I'm not sure you NEED any MinecraftMania commands except the ones placed on signs. Unless you don't have permissions to do those either.

Either case, it's likely a problem with the transition from 1.4 to 1.5 and assuming I won't take all of HKs free time doing science (*wink* *wink* *hint* *hint*) it should get sorted out at some point.

I think I managed to get the map working again...

But I can't seem to find anything that would cause MinecartMania to act up...

Still getting "You do not have permission to create a AutoForest Sign" (AutoTimber, Range, etc).

HOOOKAY.

Monsters and animals have been disabled in an attempt to reduce lag.

EDIT:

THIS HAS REDUCED LAG IMMENSLY.
Some previously lagged areas are fixed, CPU drain is down to <10%...

I think our world was getting too big for mobs.

That`s weird, mobs only spawned within a certain range of your position.

Where's the fun in that? I wanted to build a huge, kick ass monster-trap under the sea. :weep:

In all seriousness however, this also feels like something is wrong with 1.5. Note that things were going more or less smoothly on 1.4, no?

Could be that...

But the facts are there... The server lags incredibly less now that mobs are disabled.

I'm keeping it like this until we get some updates... Or dedicated.

Okay, I managed to punch AntiBreak so hard it started working again. I think.

EDIT: And SOMEHOW, squids still spawn!

Beause the nether doesn't work without a infinitely complex plugin.

Also, I don't think my computer would handle running two worlds at the same time.

Okay, I've given PUs access to the /butcher command.

Use it to kill all squids you can find.


We're still staying mobfree though... Until Bukkit can fix this annoying bug.

So yea... Playerlimit is at 10 for now... I might raise it to 15...

Absorb player range 4. Eject player range 8. Horizontal and vertical. Eject to lava surrounded by obsidian. Those carts are going back and forth at 100% speed. Some at 165%. 24 carts at the moment.


EDIT: Wireless redstone signal to ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE

EDIT2: This is not the nullpointerexceptions (NPE/Permakill) trap. This is in the upper right of the pic.

EDIT3: Yes, the exterior wall is made out of obsidian.

The pic doesn't do it justice. You really have to see the carts moving like crazy to appreciate the weirdness of the whole thing.
