He's probably one of those "west coast Swedish" guys. He lives in Finland, but doesn't speak finnish and often thinks he's better than you.

My "holier-than-thou" attitude comes from me being exposed to the internet a lot.

That... and yeah. You try being a minority in a country without becoming pissed at people.

the two days after i bought minecraft i dug & built for two days nearly straight... now i am scared to start it again as it would eat my life away as a fat guy would a cake. then after that, a skeleton killed me down at the bottom of the map and i lost 60 iron or so.. damn it.

but it's really awesome, maybe i will build a thing or two in the future with you guys.


a thing i think this game would benefit from is when the block's would only be 1/4 of the size they are now. i think many creative people are turned off by the big "ugly" blocks.. and after the first two days of playing i slapped myself for liking a game this ugly so much.

That's why you get texturepacks with 256x256 texture resolutions instead.

smaller blocks ( or a new type of craft-able colour-able small woollen block ) would be great to add detail to an area, you could use big blocks to fill an area and make a basic shape then use small blocks like modelling clay to detail it how you want would be brilliant for creative people so they don't have to build a 66 billion block wide giant skull for it to look even remotely right

and there are lots of pretty texture packs yes, but they don't really help the overall brick building size / detail

Not size, but oh it helps with the details.
You should see the texture pack i'm using, it's like playing Crysis!! (Not really but it's really sexy)

Also, map isn't updated hubbe!

Also, I have no clue why the map didn't update automatically. FlashFXP didn't report anything wrong.

I'm using Minecraft enhanced with ambient occlusion and some other sexy stuff.

Sorry, smth seems to be wrong with the latest Essentials... the /spawn and /setspawn commands cause a server crash.

Working on the problem now...


EDIT: Downgraded Essentials, fixed now.

EDIT2: Holy shit that texturepack is KEWL.
(Though I kinda dislike the tools in it.)

EDIT3: Do you people forget that I can READ the server log?

Log says you're using the username "Player".

Which prolly means whatever means you used to change username isn't working properly.
