i meant where to download the jailbreak software ,there is a site http://www.ps3tuts.com/but i cant download it ,its kinda of ad site ,.
and can any one pm me a download link to a jailbreak software ,i really want to jailbreak it ,

You can't jailbreak 3.56, so no point in looking. When there will be one (if there's going to me one), someone will post it here, so watch this topic.

Yeah.

There is currently no public release of custom firmware for a PS3 with 3.56 or 3.60.

Also 3.55 custom firmware users can't log into their PSN accounts as of today. Maybe new workarounds will be developed though, so it's not all bad.

Got lots of promise. Would like to see some sort of proper browsing with covers etc. I have over 300 movies so don't want just a list of files etc.....

Also its still not possible to do anything with 3.56 and is the spoof thing not now blocked ?

Spoof is not working now and 3.55 is the newest firmware that can be hacked.

Yeah, tried it about half an hour ago, Crysis 2 works fine but I doubt I am going to play through it on the PS3.

I personally would upgrade to 3.60!
Not gone come out a jb for the 3.56!

The downgarde worked on the 3.50,to downgrade to 3.41

So for now you are out of luck!

I would stay on 3.56. You can't downgrade from 3.60 but you can always update from 3.56

Upgrade or not ? Just tried to play GT5 and it wants me to upgrade so I just turned it off in the hope that something will come along and I can use it as a media server which will likely be it's prime use.

Kinda wierd really that Sony will not just do it themselves. I am sure there are other people like me that want to use it as a media server. And since I have to hack the machine to be able to do it, any future game that I "Might" want I am obviously going to download instead of buy..... A simple byproduct of having the media server that I want.....

Seems s stupid on their part :-/

Question time, GT5 issues

Ripped my mates copy last night on to the internal hard drive, tried to launch it earlier and it came straight up saying it wanted to update (1.5gb update WTF?!) I let it run through but as i've only got a 40gb drive and a few things on it already there wasn't enough space left for the update. I moved a bunch of shit on to an external drive and tried again, but when booting GT5 it just comes up with a black screen. Deleted the partial update, moved the game to external drive, disabled network connection, but no matter what i always get a black screen when i launch the game. I can exit back to XMB like usual when this happens though.

Tried both gaia manager and multiman but same thing each time. I don't still have the disc to try again

Help please? What am i doing wrong?

not letting the game update :-)

i would delte the game and transfer it back to the hdd, then let the game update (make sure you got enough disk space)

dont know witch version you have, but gt5 can only be run form internal

At the moment i've left it on the external so i guess that's the first thing to fix. Transferring it now, and i've already deleted the partial update

btw, you dont need to update the game, you can just click no and it will start the game :-)

Well once i moved games from internal to external, and GT5 back on to internal, it launched and i can play it.

What a crappy game lol. I have an MX5 in real life, if i push it very hard round a corner in high revs the back will almost certainly start slipping out. In Forza 3, the back starts slipping out. In GT5, it understeers round just like on gt5:p
