Out west in sunny California...

Marijuana grows openly in California towns

Quote:

Cannabis plants cultivated in the San Joaquin Valley can grow up to 18 feet high

Quote:

What's more, some patients form growing collectives, amassing numerous state-sanctioned medical marijuana cards to grow multi-acre fields of marijuana.  Last year, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office along with federal agents raided a 54-acre farm with more than 25,000 marijuana plants.

Lots of reading and videos:

Soggy Bottom Boys - I'm A Man Of Constant Sorrow
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDA708XlFIo

Quote:

I am the man of constant sorrow
I've seen trouble all my days
I bid farewell to ol' Kentucky
The place where I was born and raised.

The place where he was born and raised

For six long years I've been in trouble,
no pleasure here on earth I've found
For in this world, I'm bound to ramble,
I have no friends to help me now.

He has no friends to help him now

It's fair thee well, my old true lover,
I never expect to see you again.
For I'm bound to ride that Northern Railroad,
perhaps I'll die upon this train

Perhaps he'll die upon this train

You can bury me in some deep valley,
For many years where I may lay.
And you may learn to love another
while I am sleeping in my grave.

While he is sleeping in his grave

Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger
My face you never will see no more
But there is one promise that is given,
I'll meet you on Gods golden shore

He'll meet you on God's golden shore

Now...is that one "Blues" enough for ya?

i liked the silver haze better than the amnesia.
But for some kind of reason the super silver haze that i got from there just sucked, so my reccomondation is just the regular silver haze,

Its a nice strain that makes you very high and energetic ^^

So exactly what is it all about? Exactly which pot shops will be shut down and how are they different from the ones that are allowed to continue their operation?

#1493659 by WarfareDonor (Power User) at 2012-08-20 01:59:23 (11 months ago) - [Report]Top

Poor people that tried starting up a dispensary, this is gonna suck for them!

What it is about is the city of L.A. wants to violate State law...and only "permit" those who pay them off every month.

Legally the city can't "shut down" any of the co-op's that operate under the State law without getting sued silly for it.

Honestly, every country should see the benefit;

*Increased government revenue through taxation
*Police resources could be used to prevent and solve actual crimes
*Decreased costs throughout the penal system
*Creates jobs
*Increased tourism (=creates more jobs, results in more government revenue)

Same could be done with prostitution.
