I like Easter.  Although I'm not religious, I do enjoy that I get to see my family.  This Easter was good because it made me take my mind off of some difficult things that have been happening lately.

I'm Greek, that means there are a number of delicacies unique to easter. While chocolate rabbits and eggs are available, custom dictates eating a not-so-healthy-because-it-is-so-big  portion  of:
1) "mageiritsa" is a soup that contains lamb's liver, heart, lights and intestines and lettuce.
2) Lamp (or goat) on a spit roasted over charcoal fire. Roasting the lamb is a social event as everyone takes turns spinning the spit and, towards the end tasting it as it roasts (be careful, it's hot)
3) The lamp takes a good 5-6 hours to roast so in the meantime "kokoretsi" provides a light snack. That's a "meat roll" made of  lamb's liver, heart, lights is wrapped tight in intestines around a smaller spit with lots and lots of salt & pepper and roasted over the same charcoal fire as the lamp. It only takes about an hour to roast, but expert roasters use Assimetric Charcoal Distribution (TM) roasting one end faster and moving towards the other providing just-roasted kokoretsi over a long period of time.

I feel we Greeks can quantify our love for easter, I'm at about 3kg of extra weight.

I don't really care for easter, I just like the chocolate and the fact that it's spring time and that I know that it's getting warmer..  I WOULD like to see Ewit666's cat dressed up as an easter bunny though (lol at ewit XD ).. But yah, i don't care about the actual meaning of easter, i just like the chocolate and the fact that I miss school and that It's getting warmer.. Yay :yay:

Not anymore.
The meaning is all but gone.
Some what like Chirstmas it has boiled down to a furry bunny and a bunch of chocolate.

Im not Christian, and therefore dont support the holiday of "Easter"

However, Chocolate Day (As a lot now call it) Is on the same day as Easter Sunday.

So I hope you all had a Happy Chocolate Day!

I voted "Damn rabbit has stolen my eggs(no, not those eggs)" Because I didn't have a clue about what the hell you meant with that.

I don't go to school and I have no work.(It's not as bad as it sounds.) and I don't live with my mom anymore, so this easter wasn't that great. Actually, i didn't know it was easter until it almost had  passed. No candy. No bunnies() and no turkey.
