I just realized the season ends soon and all that has happened was the wedding and the dragon girl getting an army. It's like watching Walking Dead!

you do realize how long the book they are on now is and how many things take place? If they condensed the entire book into 10 one hour episodes it would suck even harder than it does already.

No, what I'm to get at is, if you can stop and think for a minute or two how exactly person X could've orchestrated event Y -- theres plenty of clues thrown in along the way.

Similar for how has Theon captured, you could've figured this out from way way before. It's not that the writers come down and think "hmm what seems like the most unlikely thing to happen" and then go for it, theres a lot of stuff laid down along the way.

Ofcourse, when the majority of people refer to characters with their relation or call Daenerys khaleesi or dragon lady, then its not hard to imagine how they haven't been paying attention to subtle clues when they cant even get one of the main characters names right.

But no, you're right. If a king breaks an oath but later on says sorry, the guy he broke his word to shouldn't be upset about it, and when he can retaliate by making the kings uncle marry the most hedious girl in his arsenal of offspring, just out of the kindness of his heart he should give away the one hot one he has -- because the king did apologize, so lets let bygones be bygones right? Your thought process is a lot like Sansa's

Not at all..Cersei told the story of what tywin did to the House Reyne in the song The Rains of Castemere which of course played during the Red Wedding. A BIG clue as to who was behind it all. No need for crystal balls, just common sense and paying attention.

Game of Thrones is now HBOs most popular currently airing show, and second only to The Sopranos all-time.

Just goes to show how overlooked The Wire is.

The books are the same. Atleast the series cuts through most of the bullshit.

I had no idea that Boardwalk Empire was that popular, I was always worried it'd be cancelled.

True Blood is the vampire version of GoT, dozens of boring plot lines taking up way too much screen time while the good one(s) only getting a few minutes per episode.

I probably didn't phrase my last post properly. I'm not saying I don't accept that the Lanisters were behind this - I'm saying I'd much rather, as the audience, take part in their scheming and shenanigans than just see the end result like that, cos it felt cheap. Since we never really see Walder Frey before the events, the "clues" people refer become apparent only after the fact (or moments before the fact) - there's no build-up like with Neds beheading.

In other words - I'm ticked off because we didn't get to see things, not because of what we saw.

That, and the sudden end of the war plot-line. I don't miss the Starks, as they were getting progressively more boring - but I fear without the war plot things might get a bit dry now.

it was exactly the same in the book so you are better off bitching about the way it's written rather than the actual tv show. I didn't find it overly annoying myself although I can see your point.
