exactly..some people have no concept of geography in westeros

Pfft, how could people NOT know the geography of a fictional book/tv-series?! I mean, what are they doing with their lives?

Let's see

The intro kind of puts it in perspective...but if it doesn't surely the weeks it took Jon Snow to go from Winterfell to the Wall might be a clue for even the thickest.

Love the episode, as I'm loving the entire season so far. I wish I had the remaining four episodes already available.

there you go..at least you can understand now how stupid it is to think you could see winterfell from the top of the wall.

the wall is 100 leagues long (300 miles)
even on that map it's almost 2 wall lengths from the wall or almost 600 miles.

This show should have a standard 2 hour run time, seeing most people once every episode really makes them incredibly forgettable.

Joffrey has got some serious issues.
Hope that the Littlefinger and Varys beef continues, they may be the most clever men in Kings Landing.
Dance puppets, dance!

I didn't get littlefinger's weirdo speech this time either. And not asking to have it explained beyond the bounds of this episode or previous seasons either. I guess I have to watch it again which wouldn't be the first time when it comes to his character. Either way a solid episode through and through.. basically one theme tying all scenes together nicely imo..

he was pissed the bald guy ruined his plan to get Sansa by trying to get Sansa to marry the gay dude and he figured out the bald guy was using his whore to get information about it so he gave her to Joffrey, standard daytime soap opera storyline like most all of them on this show.

I`m pretty sure you know how this season it will end ... because you saw something similar on Babylon 5 or Battlestar Galactica, or whatever.

Qbert has been writing negative comments every week about this show in order to bait reactions. Maybe he'll go away if we stop responding to him.

You are an American.. you want boom-boom bang bang, I understand

But yes, that explains why she ended up there. Joff offed the painted whore instead of copulating her like his mother had advised him to.. the real interesting bits were of course the "chaos ladder" and the "lie" bit. To me this episode was entirely focused on 'meaning'. Littlefinger finds meaning in the game ~a chaos ladder, survival of the fittest for those with their eyes closed, which is symbolized in the climb of Jon Snow the cruuh and his wench who both transcend the cynicism of the game by their romantic love. It is also echoed in Thoros' confession and between Arya and I forgot the guys name who get taken away, a strong platonic love. Littlefinger has neither love nor friendship. I guess the lie bit either was supposed to support the idea about the chaos ladder or something else about the story of Kings Landing..

au contraire ....he has love ,an unfulfilled love, almost an obsession I can say.

@alupigus

unrequited love is not love and neither are his sexual deviations, which I'm betting you are hinting to.. the guy's a necrophiliac.. admit it!.. nah don't say it even if its true ;~)

He`s not a necrophiliac. He had a disappointment in love when he was young. The love of his live is alive....You can`t see all the "connections" and the "dots" and the complexity of the characters from the movie...and that`s a problem imo.

Am I correct in thinking that he might go for 'the next best thing' perhaps? If you know what I mean..
