Trust me, you aren't paying more attention than me, and it's never a logical thing to conjure up new scenes, especially when there hasn't even been a sliver of a hint pointing towards Arya having those kind of abilities. Although I must say that it's a reasonable guess but not more than that. It's kind of hard for me to understand what a person who hasn't read the books can or can't figure out as I've read three of the books and know basically everything that's going to happen for the next season.

Gotta agree on this, Theon pledging to the drowned god was one of the most awesome scenes this season for me.(I <3 Aeron Greyjoy )

Yeah, half the world doesn't have HBO and gets it late. To be fair, those numbers just show even more how insanely popular the show is.

The networks need to realize what year it is and just do a worldwide release of their shows because nowadays even a couple of time zones over could kill a shows ratings with downloaders.

it's weird in Italy. Sometimes shows come out almost at the same time. The Pacific was aired like one week later here. But then you have shows like GOT to which the first season still hasn't aired.

And on top of that usually they are first aired on SKY then you have to wait 6 to 12 more months for them to be on non-pay tv.

And they are surprised when people pirate shows?

Watching the episode an hour after it airs (for the torrent release & then download time) sometimes feels like too long, I cant imagine how people could wait weeks or even months before seeing it =o

GoT is such a big sensation I dont know why HBO hasn't figured out that it makes sense to release the show at a standardized "LIVE" time. I mean sure you can replay it at a standardized time later on but I'm sure a lot fewer people would torrent it if they could see it at the same time as everyone else.

I know in Pakistan they would show American Idol at 6am and then again at 8 or 9pm (I dont actually watch the show so I dont know) but my point being theres always a good handful of hardcore fans that want to see the show the second it airs and their obsession drives them to torrent it (if not them wanting stuff for free )

For me personally, I like reading episode reviews and fan discussions & watching inside the episodes from hbo and all of those wouldnt be fun if it was weeks after-the-fact

Thankfully in the UK on Sky we have a channel called Sky Atlantic, for which about 40% of the programming comes from HBO. So we see all the major shows like Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, House etc very soon after the US (normally the next day).

I watched all of this season of GoT from Sky Atlantic HD (recorded and watched on Tuesday morning as I work nights) except for the finale, as I just could not wait and I didn't want to hear/read accidental spoilers from anyone who might have done the same.

France is the worst, we usually have to wait 2 to 4 years, and they sometimes mix the episodes order which really messes things up. During the first season of House they would put 2 episodes of the first seasons in a row and a random one from season two just after, which completely spoils the season's long story and makes you wonder why X character just popped up from nowhere...

This is why I've unplugged my TV and now download everything a la carte

an interesting (negative) critic of Game of Thrones. Its a long read and contains certain spoilers, most of which are just changes the show made from the books but I found it quite interesting and for the most part true.
