I've also finished the entire first season in a very short time. I was smart to wait until now, because there are less than two months till S02 begins. :thumbsup:

I'm in love with this series so I can't wait! :w000t:

I'm not going to do any googling since I don't want to have a clue of what's gonna happen.

Season 1 on Blu-ray is out in March too for collectors. The HDTV-rip was good quality so don't know if I'll upgrade.

The 720p TV rips are good but bluray is a completely different league. Much higher bitrate, 1080p, DTS-HD MA etc

Nice work they did on the actor who played Brienne. I googled her when she was casted and I thought she seemed way too hot but they seemed to have rectified the problem.. she could stand to be a little uglier though.
Davos looks less.. swashbucklian than I thought he would, also Melisendre could be a little hotter.

But these are details, I bet season 2 will be awesome

Definitely! That was going to be my Sunday this week. Saturday I'm finishing up the last 200 pages of the 4th book. Time to go buy the 5th!

Edit: When it comes to Stannis and Davos. I do agree, Davos looks more like a Stannis to me. I always pictured Stannis kind of like the Mountain That Rides, just smaller. At the same time I think Cunningham looks like a Davos. To be fair, once again good choiced on actors, just hoping they play their roles well.

Think he's called Jean Reno.
Anyways Davos looks like a badass, he's a really good character in the book imo.

Well the plot is quite simple really, I think you'll be fine after reading a few minutes on wikipedia.

Anyway, I started reading the books last summer. Couldn't get myself to start with the third book, the plot is just one big soap opera.

Well yeah that's kind of the problem I've been having. Alot is happening but I just don't really care for any of the characters. And litterature wise the books are not that great either.
