Come on..if you are fucking stupid enough to wander into THIS forum without having watched this weeks episode you get everything you deserve.

Very true. This entire topic would be colored black if all talk about the show were to be spoilertagged. It can't be that hard to resist going into the topic until you've watched it either. This same discussion is brought up every week, and it's starting to get quite stupid. Don't come in here if you haven't seem the episode.

About the episode:

I found it good overall. Though, these last two episodes have been slow compared to the rest. But damn, THAT ending made it go from a poorly lit fire to an explosion for me. Looking forward to the last episode like a boss!

was that the same way he died in the books?  was the mom against it but the kid just said fuck it? and would have loved to see some fighting after that huge buildup i was kinda disappointed they just skipped it

Who cares what you've done or not, it sounded like you had made the reveal of the year. Also, it doesn't even say what you told. Go back and look again.

But what people have to learn.. is to stop spoiling from the books..like three books ahead :S

I think that spoilers should be allowed for the tv series..and spoilers about the book up until the latest episode

Yes, that's pretty much exactly how it happened. Cersei and Varys had advised Joffrey to show mercy and send Eddard off to the wall, but he decided otherwise and as he's the king, no one could stop him really.

what an arrogant ass of a kid.
If i was his mother, i'd slap that snot upside the head and send him to bed without dinner.

Jack Gleeson as Joffrey Baratheon was a very good choice. In books the character "king Joffrey" is describe to be a real prick and the young actor, manage until now, to bring this character to life in an exceptional way.I`m curious to see if the others child actors will be as good ad him.

The kid that plays Arya has done a good job so far ( haven't seen the last episode yet ) and the kid playing Brandon isn't doing badly neither.
They should have more air time in the next seasons, so we will see.

Why don't YOU stop being a total prick..if you have to comment why don't YOU go back and read what I wrote or just stfu.

I SAID after the FIRST Episode that IF you went to IMDB and checked the amount of EPISODES each charactor appeared in you would see that some of them would get killed off and since Sean Bean's charactor was only in NINE episodes of a ten episode eason it was pretty fucking clear he wasn't going to be around...

Im a little pissed off they did not shown any of the battle or how they captured Jamie.
I cannot understand why they did not feature it.

Screen time and budget constraints most likely.

As mentioned probably due to budget and time. They're already cramming too much into the episodes imo. I'd prefer it longer or more eps per season then the current cramming. Apparently the book didn't go to in depth on them either.

yea i did think that but such an portunity to show some action has been missed.
The show certainly does not look like it lacks budget, i mean whats a few extras and some compueter generated stuff.

It just seems such an important battle and moment yet they choose not to show anything.

Well they had better have the budget for future episodes and series or else its going to be a little shit with no key battles.

there is a lot more battles in the next few books I dont know how they will be able to afford it all

Well Martin said he had some troubles scaling down a battle while writing an episode for the next season.
So probably a lot of scaling down.

Thats not a good sign

So a show like the walking dead but with only 2 zombies instead of 200, you get the picture.

They had better get the dragons right

if they kill off some more actors they will have plenty of budget to do battles and dragon VFX :giggle:

large battles ? dragons ?  all i want is  this show to stay   alive and On Air (for now )
