Needed a new hide/basking spot for the snake so bought a corner shelve from B&Q and made 1 from parts, not that it uses it as you can see lol.

Yep, proper brainwashed. I never cut myself with my Merkur futur 700, not even while using Feather (sharpest) razors. If you want a close shave those 50 bladed gillette razors can't achieve a double edged safety razor or a straight razor is pretty much the way to go. =)

Yep, I used a 700 to, but recently I changed to an Merkur 37c slanted. It actually feels like a real straight razor shave.

Bought one of the straight edge razors where you can replace the blades. Figured i might as well learn some time!

First shave... almost cut myself a new mouth.
Second shave... baby smooth skin

you can buy one for like �29, so it's a great chance to learn before you buy yourself a proper one that you need to sharpen etc
