today's been a good day

I took back one or two items to replace (from xmas presents) - very happy with the new things. then in the online sales i bought these:

Diesel "black and gold" shoes

Diesel underwear

Both 50% off :thumbsup:

I know, i know, I bought another pair of shoes (posted further up on this page), but these were too good-a-deal to miss + these two will be my only casual pairs.

Paid $54 for the card, and $38 for the portable drive. I am quite pleased with the new video card, I can actually run Microsoft's Worldwide Telescope now. Oh, and finally being able to play the new AvP is great as well.

1TB drives go for about �60, I paid �109 for my 2TB. I needed it quick though so went to a well known PC store ....spit spit

true true,... but there's a price difference between USB-only-powered and electrically-powered. So I'd expect �50 for UBS-only 500GB and �60 for 1TB electrically-powered. am i right?

finally..a very nice pair of leather gloves. Ted Baker �50

edit: �42 is the cheapest portable 500GB HD I could find. might get it

I found it at the local Walmart.

I saw them on clearance about a month ago and decided to go up there and buy one tonight. I got there and found them stacked in a completely different isle, but they were marked up to $79.99! After a bit of searching, I found that they had left the clearance tag up on the isle that I saw them on originally. To hell with 79.99 when there is another price tag up for the same item on a different isle.

I showed my ass a bit and got the clearance price.
